A pretty new place. Really nicely done in terms of the big picture -- building design, layout, landscaping. Staff are very good, too. Restaurant (had dinner and breakfast there) is rather good.
But it seems like the finishing touches were assigned to a cheap builder/lighting firm. So, for example, the lighting controls in the room are a nightmare. The furnishing/room decor is second-rate. The position and quality of the common area lights and garden lights is excruciatingly poor.
This has the potential to be a four-star hotel in Khao Yai, but is let down by the finishing touches, so it feels a bit overpriced relative to its Thai peers. Yes, I'd stay again, but i would want a better deal on the price
