Take a 5-minute forest walk to the nearby sandy beach. Enjoy island views, a stylish interior, five plush beds, two comfy cots, and a baby crib. Each nightstand is equipped with a bag for adjusting the fill of our Dream Science bamboo foam pillows. We couple them with lightweight bamboo blankets to ensure you are well-rested for your next day's adventures.

Discover the vibrant local scene with an easy stroll to renowned restaurants, adventure outfitters & lively nightlife. Whether you're here for business or leisure, you'll find a perfect balance of functionality & luxury.

Completed in 2024, our house offers a fresh, modern vibe with a touch of nature. While the landscaping is still a work in progress, you'll find the property surrounded by natural grass, shrubs, and flourishing tea tree seedlings, creating an unpretentious and serene atmosphere.

Your unit awaits upstairs, accessible through a separate private entrance located on the side of the forest reserve. Step onto the balcony with views of the nearby island and Russell peninsula, overlooking a backdrop of lush native forest. The accommodation boasts 2 king beds, 2 king singles and a queen sofa bed complemented by one ensuite bathroom and an additional guest bathroom. We also have two comfy, low-to-the-ground cots that are perfect for kids, plus a crib for infants under one.

Immerse yourself in the tranquillity of our upscale Totara Heights community. We can't wait to host you in our little slice of paradise!

You are welcome to use the one designated off-street parking spot right in front of the house. Additionally, there's free guest parking available about 100 meters up the road when spots are open.

Your unit, situated upstairs, offers complete independence with 100 square meters of indoor space. The balcony is equipped with a gas BBQ and a table for outdoor grilling and cooking. We want you to feel right at home, both indoors and outdoors, throughout your stay!

Family visit

Lovely! Our family of five (3 teens included) enjoyed a comfortable and scenic stay! Alisha welcomed us upon arriving and was a delight to meet. The property was easy to access and just a trail walk to the local beach. A lovely place to land while holidaying!

The Paihia Lighthouse is a fantastic property with amazing views and responsive hosts. Alisha is happy to help with any problem. It is at the top of a steep hill and has a steep driveway - this is not an issue (everything is sealed bitumen) but our mini-van had to be manoeuvred carefully. The BBQ deck is great for cooking dinner on a sunny day. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful stay

This is a really beautiful property which is well located for all the activities around Paihia. Whilst being close to town it is situated in a quiet location with beautiful views. Our host Alisha has spent a lot of time ensuring the property is just right for her guests, and that you have everything you could want to make your stay enjoyable. If we are ever back in the Bay of Islands I would head straight back to this property.

The accommodation exceeded our expectations the views from the open plan living area and kitchen was a highlight. Alisha and husband were extremely helpful, responded quickly to requests. All in all a great family property ideal to explore the Bay of Islands
