It feels secluded on property with an abundance of wildlife, yet is only ten minutes to downtown, the hot springs, Echo Canyon Reservoir, and multiple National Forest entrances. Wolf Creek Ski Resort is just 30 minutes away! Designed in Austin, TX and recently completed in 2022, this single story home with no steps features three bedrooms with king sized beds plus a study and two full baths. High ceilings and eight foot tall windows create ample natural light and make nature the primary focus. There are dramatic nightly sunsets and peak-a-boo views of downtown, the San Juan River and mountain range beyond. An open floor plan and Chef's kitchen with modern cabinetry, a custom granite "waterfall" island counter, stainless commercial gas range and multiple pans, spices, and cooking accessories make entertaining a breeze. The master bedroom is separated from the guest rooms and has a view worthy of staying in bed all day. The master bath features a custom vanity with dual sinks, backlit mirror, a separate toilet room, and massive walk-in shower. Other features of the home include: wifi, keyless entry, custom accent walls, original artwork, hand built artisan lighting, separate laundry and mudrooms, new furniture and accessories throughout, no carpeting, ceiling fans, covered balcony and patio, and a remote controlled gas fireplace. They have everything you need. I was surprised they even have a pressure cooker. The house was clean. The communication with the manager and owner was on top. The vent was so dirty grease was dripping on the stove and food in several spots. We cleaned all the vent filters and the vent as best we could and had no more issues. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was an outstanding place for our July 4th getaway. It served as base camp for our crew that allowed quick access to the highways to get to Pagosa Springs (5-7 mins away), Treasure Falls (20 mins or so) Big Meadow Reservoir and Williams Creek Reservoir (60 mins or so). Beds were super comfortable and there was plenty of room for our crew of 6 when we weren’t out enjoying Pagosa. A++ on the service and available amenities at the cabin. The property manger helped us save on rafting in Durango and had great options around Pagosa. The only miss at this place was the lack of ventilation or being able to move the air around the cabin. We were there the week of the 4th and it was warm for Colorado (mid 80s) the large, west facing windows provide stunning views to the valley to the west, but they also let in radiant heat (even with the shades down). We left the windows open and the fans on all day, but there was little breeze to help out. Now, this wasn’t a huge deal as we were out of the cabin most of the day, the letdown was in the evening when it took a while to cool down the bedrooms (master more than the others). Almost everything about this cabin was outstanding, I just think the owner missed an opportunity to make a clean sweep with this oversight.Would 100% recommend you putting this on your have-to-stay places in Pagosa Springs. ##### Luke Q. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We recently stayed in this rental for 3 nights. The house was incredibly clean. The beds were comfortable to us (memory foam type mattresses). The kitchen was very well stocked (cooking oils, spices, cookware, etc.). The internet was a little slow but considering its satellite-based that's to be expected (it was adequate for streaming with a little buffering). The location was great, it's located in the back of the subdivision, so it was very quiet. The property is surrounded by tall pines which do somewhat block the views of the mountains, but the sunsets are incredible through the trees. The roads leading to the property are not paved, so they are a bit rough in places, nothing major if you take your time. The host was very responsive and quickly arranged for a minor maintenance issue to be addressed. Garage access is not allowed but there was plenty of parking in front. When staying here be sure to visit the wildlife sanctuary about 2 miles away, it was a fantastic experience! Overall, this is a beautiful property and super relaxing, we'll be back! ##### Tod S. Great house, amazing beds, very clean. A few little things like no hot water for the first evening and full trash cans. Before check-in we got a little worried as we were copied on a mass text about check in instructions with other renters on the same feed. The host company took care of all the issues with 24 hours.
