Room was clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was a complete fail. Only offered cereal, oatmeal, muffins, fruit and I saw some hard boiled eggs. Most places we have stayed had some kind of meat, waffle options etc. When we pay that much for a hotel, and a buffet breakfast is listed as part of the package....
Great location. Coupler of miles from beautiful downtown Paducah and Ohio river. Many areas asking the river flood wall for picnicking. Great walking paths asking river as well.
Property was undergoing construction and renovation. New carpets, paint, etc and updated amenities were nicer.
Pool was closed due to renovations and there was some confusion on which breakfast items to put out due to some being for new name to be revealed later that day.
Stayed for a night. Overall good. Breakfast wasn’t that great as my family mentioned . Plus, Auburn place changed its name and we had no clue about. Ended up circling and holiday inn mentioned now it’s Spark
They offer a breakfast bar just bagels/ cereal and muffins nothing hot

We picked this place to stay on our trip due to the listing and photos showing a workout facility, unfortunately after checking in and looking for the gym, we were notified that they do not have one.
Also, breakfast was very minimal, cereal, toast, and oatmeal.
I have tried to stay at this property when in Paducah the past few years. Formerly Auburn Place. However when I checked in last night after change to Hilton Spark, service was still good, clean, but no more hot breakfast and price increased. I probably will go back to other places. Nothing making this location exceptional.
No hot breakfast ! Workers was very rude about breakfast starts at 6:00 am but no hot breakfast come out and only same stuff that get put out about 5:30 so why do you have to wait !! Very rude worker in morning shift ! Will stay in different place next time !!
This is a very nicely renovated property with very nice fixtures. However was obviously a property with prior smoking rooms. Cosmetic renovation cannot cover up the imbedded smell of stale smoke. The bed was also too soft for our taste.
Was very disappointed that there was no coffee pots in the room. Also for the price of the room I exspected a little more than a very slim continental breakfast
While the breakfast that was provided was typical, the room we had was quite nice and newly furnished. The biggest problem we had was finding the hotel. We had not been informed that the name was changed from Auburn to Sparks. Spent over an hour trying to find the place. Luckily, a nearby hotem employee helped us out.
We happened to stay during transition to Sparks. Pool was not open. Staff was a little pre-occupied with transition. Air conditioner was really noisy but worked. I'm sure it will come around.
