The Sunset West house is a classic Pacific City getaway designed for fun at the beach. A classic 70s design, but with thoughtful updates, this home will make you feel at ease. The living room has a big comfy couch, with ocean views. There are 5 bedrooms making sure there is room for the whole family. The kitchen is small, but well equipped. The best part is the large oceanfront deck, and a hot tub with the best views in town. Features: WIFI Cable TV Gas BBQ Max cars 4 (Contact us if additional parking space is needed) Pet friendly Layout: 2 level Octagon house. Split level entry. Downstairs has bedroom with queen bed ; bedroom with two double beds ; bedroom/den with double futon , twin futon and TV; full bath with shower; full bath with laundry area and shower. Upstairs has living room, dining area and kitchen, bedroom with king bed , bedroom with 3 twin bunks , full hall bath with tub & shower. Due to the unique octagon design, the upstairs bedroom walls do not fully meet the ceiling. Oceanfront deck with HOT TUB Neighborhood: Kiwanda Shores is a private gated community of quality homes on the ocean front in Pacific City. Security, pride in ownership and peaceful enjoyment of the coastal experience is shared by Kiwanda Shores homeowners and renters alike. A low bank sandy beach slopes to the ocean from the Ocean Front homes. Beach access is available to the Second Row and Back homes. This home is built directly on a sand dune that leads to the beach. During winter storms the sand can quickly drift and accumulate around the property sometimes affecting the ocean view. Although we make every effort to remove the sand and preserve the view prior to your stay, the winter weather makes this difficult to predict and views may not be guaranteed. Kiwanda Coastal Properties is a local, professional Oregon Coast vacation rental management company that offers over 50 homes in the Pacific City area. We have been offering beach rental homes for more than 30 years. Reliable management means responsive service, insider guides to the area and a better vacation experience. Please let us know if you will be bringing a pet so that we can add the non-refundable pet fee of $10/night. Only well-behaved dogs are allowed. Pets are not allowed on the furniture, or left in the house unattended. Occupancy rules are strictly enforced and apply to the entire property during the stay. Additional day-use guests may be allowed with management pre-approval. After your booking is confirmed, you will be sent the full rental contract and terms. The safety of our staff, guests and local community is our top priority. This home is professionally managed and cleaned to strict standards in line with CDC guidelines, including supervised housekeeping and post-clean sanitation. Cancellation policy: 1/2 the total cost of the booking is subject to forfeiture if reservation is canceled or changed within 30 days of arrival. 100% of rental rate is charged if cancelled (or no-show) within 7 days of arrival. If the house is fully rebooked by another renter, cancellation charges (less $35) will be refunded. Reservation cancellation fee is $35\. (If you book with a 3rd party, different charges may apply). The house is literally on the beach. My adult kids loved that for surfing and boogie boarding. The hot tub was a nice touch after being in the cold ocean. The dining area is very small. For as many people as it sleeps, you couldn't sit them all around the table. It's pretty cramped. The showers were great, nice water flow. There is a huge shower downstairs that was very nice. The only disappointment we had was there is mold throughout this house especially in the downstairs bedroom to the right. When I checked out I notified the lady at the front desk and she said they can get maintenance to go look but that’s it. Wouldn’t recommend renting this one until mold issue is fixed. TV is old and we streamed from a computer, remote hardly works. Toilet was broken but rigged to work during our stay. Large deck with hottub, chairs, table and gas-bbq. There are 5 bedrooms, 4 showers, laundryroom with dryers and washer. Kitchen has everything to cook dinner. Everything is working and clean. Would have been nice to have a few Adirondack chairs or something. The house was also not very clean, debris under beds, toilet questionably clean, crusted food on some dishes in cabinets, splatters on doors/walls. Additionally the actual condition of the house was pretty deteriorated. Siding rotting/in disrepair, floor and baseboards completely worn out in the second story bathroom, many of the doors also had veneer missing/cracked. It appears the owners purchased this over a decade ago and haven't done any updates and barely the bare minimum to keep this operating as a vacation rental. It was fine for our trip but we wouldn't rent this house again for future trips to Pacific City. ##### Kacia L. There is a constant bad smell of old wet carpet and and moldy. Paying customers expect a minimum of clean and updated especially for the amount of money asking for this place. ##### Katherine C. House was amazing, right in the beach, stocked with dishes, tp, paper towels, trash bags, and other cleaning supplies. This was great and unexpected, as other properties we’d stayed at didn’t offer much on that front. It wasn’t deep under the bed and I was thankful I found it instead of my toddler who would have likely put it right in her mouth. In contacting the rental property and sending pictures I received a response about a hour and a half later, informing me she could have a cleaner there in about 3 to 4 hours, as they were getting another house ready for another guest. I felt like they did not take it seriously and when I said we properly disposed of it immediately, I asked to speak to them about another way to rectify this horrible experience. That was on day 2 of our trip. We have checked out since and I still have yet to receive a response to my email or my voicemails. On top of that the main floor bathroom did not work. The chain is rusted inside the bowl and constantly slips off. I cut myself on the handle of the downstairs shower head. Some major TLC is needed to make this an adequate rental. The view is great being an oceanfront rental, but that’s the only thing this house has going for it. ##### Carley F. The house was perfect, only one bedroom was small the other four are quite large, the sitting area and kitchen were perfect, the hot tub on the deck was very clean.
