Unfortunately the hotel is a little noisy on a busy main road, the TV was hard to watch as so small and the bathroom light didn't work. Plus you are not allowed to take your own food and drinks to your room ... only food and drinks purchased there

Convenient for town centre. Warm and comfortable. If you go out for the day you will loose your parking space. Park on Halfords till a space becomes available.

Old building in historic Witney, now a hotel. Warm and friendly. Nepalese menu for next visit! Lovely landlord gave us a ground floor room when he realised C might have difficulties with stairs.

There’s a very good Nepalese restaurant in the hotel, and the staff are friendly and helpful. My room was small but then I’m a solo traveller.

The Old Court Hotel was adequate for a 1 night stay. The decoration in the room was not not great. The main light in the bathroom didn't work, just a wall light and the toilet seat was loose. The car park is very small so parking a big car would be an issue. The Gurka restaurant was good for my evening meal. I didn't have the breakfast as I had to leave before it was available.

The Old Court Stay
The Old Court in Witney was ideal for us, and we will return to stay there when we`re in the area in future. the food was excellent, and although a bit small, the room had everything we needed. The Bed however was a little too soft for our liking, which was the only negative, but as we weren`t staying there for a week, not too much of an inconvenience. The Staff were all very polite and helpful, which is all we ask anywhere.

Very nice stay.
Relatively cheap. Very clean. Extremely friendly hosts. Reasonably cheap drink at the bar. The ensuite bathroom to my room isn't really suitable for the larger person; a bit on the small side.

Disgusting
The bathroom has seen much better days and needed a deep deep scrub with a scrub daddy. The bed felt like it had spit into two pieces and the sheets smelt like they had been on there unused for a week or so. The pictures of the rooms really oversell the hotel.

The condition of the property is very especially the cleanliness. we tried two rooms but were only able to stay one night because mould was very evident in the rooms. Particularly in the bathrooms and on the window frames which had an effect on my wife's asthma. Photos taken and will report to Expedia - no refund given for the night we did not stay - being taken up with Expedia

No return visit.
I checked in and had a heavy bag, no help was offered from the staff. The room was dusty so not good for someone like me who’s asthmatic. Went for dinner, it was very salty so I asked for it to be dilute from salt. Its tasted the same ( very salty ) the second time round. I packed it in take away box to get second opinion from my friends. He too, find it very salty. There was only 1 shower gel, 1 shampoo in the room. I booked for 2 people. I went and asked for more shampoo and shower gel, the staff made rude comments of how many time I should/ shouldn’t have a shower, so I said don’t bother, I will go and buy some from a shop. He then reluctantly gave me 1 more of each. Won’t be back.

It is a very unique period property. Parking was tight in the courtyard and difficult access in & out since it is on a busy roundabout. Expect to be beeped at trying to get in and out at peak times! We stayed in the suite which has a four poster bed, chaise longue, built in jacuzzi bath, free standing wardrobe, toliet, sink, etc. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were very friendly. If you like a sanitised hotel room with ample parking, this is not the place for you. If you like somewhere quirky where you need to become friends with the room and learn its idiosyncrasies, you will have a great stay.

Grubby and umpleasant
It's a dump - the rooms badly need upgrading. The mattess was grubby, and the toilet made noises after use for several minutes. The windows are not double glazed so the rooms are very noisy and the curtains do not block out adequate light. I would avoid having to stay here again.
