The interior was absolutely age appropriate and charming. Built in 1912, the house was immaculate and welcoming. We enjoyed the kitchen, porch, fire pit and just being in the country. Thanks for creating such a good space for all of us.

We all had a wonderful time celebrating Christmas! The rustic decor was fun and whimsical, and the grounds were exciting to explore. It featured all the luxuries of home, too. We will definitely stay again!

Great little house with privacy

If you want privacy and room for you and your family to relax that is only 10 minutes away from town this is it. Kids had their own bunk house to themselves. Plenty of room/beds for a large crew. Sweet little house.

Sooo Peaceful...

We loved our stay. Everything went smooth and the property was great. Very rural and quiet even though it was only about ten minutes to Wal Mart. My wife and I use VRBO from time to time and have never seen a property so clean. I wish we could have stayed for longer.

Wonderful and clean place. Family was able to spend quality time and attend graduation in Tiffin.

The room were comfortable. The family enjoyed walking around the property. The kids saw some deer, heard the geese and bull frogs. Loved the back deck. Very quiet and peaceful setting. One suggestion is placing more lights on the front porch and maybe ceiling fan.

The house was incredible. Truly even better than the pictures. So spacious. So many games, fully stocked kitchen, deck & plenty of seating...dog bowls, towels, so many beds! It was ideal! We will be back! The property is idyllic country setting & so peaceful & spacious!

The owner was really great with communication. The property is unique and the living space was fun and clean. The kitchen was sufficient. It was a bit challenging with one of the two bathrooms being in a bedroom and with the fifth bedroom being the bunkhouse. It was probably just an oversight on my behalf that I didn’t realize it originally. The streaming tv was a bit spotty. The deck was big and looked cool. It was just too hot to be out there. The yard kitten was a big hit for the kids.

Annual Family Gathering

Property and weather were perfect for our weekend stay. House was very accommodating to meet our family needs. We had 11 people and 1 dog. Plenty of room for us all. The property is full of things to check out. We loved exploring. A couple miles down the road we tried some fishing and hiking at FW Kent Park. Beautiful area. We will be back.

Family Thanksgiving Dinner

Had a great stay at the house. We had 27 people for dinner and we all fit in the sunroom. It is a lovely updated old farm house which does mean a smaller kitchen and small bedrooms with the exception of the master which was huge. The hosts responded promptly to every question. Very clean. There is also a very friendly cat!

Enjoyable vintage farmhouse set in beautiful countryside

We enjoyed the home, the setting. Did some walking about the acreage despite the heat. Boys played whiffle ball. Plenty of room. Three slept in the darling bunkhouse until a spider and frog appeared. So we made room in the house for the city slickers. Kids enjoyed the stray cat! I think the cat enjoyed the food and water. Very friendly.

Country Character

When some people say a house has "character" they mean it with negative connotations. This couldn't be farther from that usage. When I say this house has country charm and character, I mean it in the best way. It was quirky, spacious, and inviting. We felt right at home as we made it our homebase for a weekend spent relaxing, enjoying each other's company and watching the Hawkeyes at Kinnick as they beat the Purdue Boilermakers. We couldn't have asked for a better location or amenities and everything worked out great. Highly recommend.

Lovely! This was the perfect spot for a reading retreat with fellow book lovers. The kitchen is fully equipped, which helped us do shared meals.
