It was clean and had everything we needed. The creek was in good shape and as a group we caught and missed up to 20 fish. At least half of them right off the creek in back of the cabin. We were right on the creek so there really was no need to go anywhere, but there are great restaurants nearby such as Waterville Hotel, Mountaintop Provisions and Happy Acres. Being from the area originally, it was nice to go back "home" for the weekend and decompress in the mountains. Barry was very easy to communicate with, although we never needed a thing while we were there. If I were to caution one thing to anyone staying in the future, bring a lot of bug spray. My husband and I just spent a great 5 days here. We wanted a quiet time away to rest and relax and read, and we also wanted to ride our bikes on the rail trail. We were able to do all of these things here. The porch is so deep and the chairs and swing are so comfy! And there is a great fireplace inside that we enjoyed several times as well.
