"We made a short stay with the family. The tenant was very helpful and friendly. This is a 1937 construction and it would need some love and major cleaning (stains on walls and carpets). This Beijing said, we really enjoyed our stay by using the games in the basement (pool tables, baby foot table, ping pong and more) and looking at old artifacts in the place. The breakfast was great in the huge reception room that we had for ourselves."

"The room I was in was very cramped (very little in the way of surfaces to put things on - maybe some shelves would help? , but it is one of the cleanest motels or hotels I have ever stayed in."

"The views are amazing, the property is in top notch condition for both functionality and beautiful decor, lots of thought and care went into it! The nights by the fire on Lake Superior were magical. If you are a party crowd, look elsewhere, we don't want you to ruin it for people who appreciate the things around them. For families with older kids (but not cell phone captive teenagers), or a romantic getaway, this place is a gem! And yes, it does have excellent wi-fi if you do have one of those teenagers in tow.."
