Join us for the 19th year of the Otter Rock Oasis! Welcome to our beach house in quaint Otter Rock. Access Beverly Beach - a long stretch of beautiful Oregon Coast just two blocks away, or wander down a path across the street to the Marine Garden, a protected preserve ideal for exploring tidepools and the Devil's Punchbowl. Surfing, beach-combing, picnicking, or just hanging out on the sand - it's all right here. Our town is a bustling spot on a sunny day - don't fight the crowds for parking...stay right here! Mo's West, the Flying Dutchman Winery, and Cliffside Coffee & Sweets are also a couple of blocks away, right across from Devil's Punchbowl State Park. We are also walking distance to Spyglass at Otter Crest which also offers a local dining menu, breakfast, lunch and dinner. This is a family home - comfortable not luxurious but it has all the things we want when we go to the beach. Cook in a fully equipped kitchen with a large dining room table. There are many spice basics, flour, sugar, coffee, tea, oil, and such similar things too. We share plastic wrap, foil, ziplocs, and all the things you have in your own kitchen. (Things do run out occasionally so no guarantee on all the exact contents of the cupboards!) Pick up some seafood at the Chelsea Rose in the Newport docks to grill on our bbq! Our wrap-around sunset deck has bright blue rocking chairs to relax and enjoy the sunsets. And the best part is that we also added a hot tub! It has a lovely ocean view - perfect for after a day on the beach. Enjoy streaming movies & shows from our comfy sectional or play one of the many provided board games. With over 1,500 square feet of space on two floors, there is room to spread out and relax. Wifi too! A reading corner in the living room is a nice place to relax or nap too. Access to the balcony from the upstairs offers chairs for a distant view of Yaquina Lighthouse and fun people watching in the summer. Upstairs, the one bedroom has a queen-size bed and a full/twin bunk bed. This is a great spot for the kids or for families to be in the same room but have your own beds. The queen bed upstairs does have the best morning view of Gull Rock out the window! The second bedroom downstairs has a king bed with an adjacent bathroom and shower. We have a futon in the downstairs bonus room that provides another sleeping option. There is a full size washer and dryer in the adjacent laundry room. We have lots of toys, games, and books to entertain most ages. There is a booster chair with a tray that you can attach to a kitchen chair and we have a pack and play if you want to bring your own sheet. There is a wooden baby gate too. Perfect for a family vacation, a girl's weekend, or getting away with friends. The house is accessed by a personalized key code sent via email prior to your stay. Check in is 4pm and check out is 11 am. We do have a 2 day minimum stay requirement but sometimes offer single days in between other stays, during slower times, or last minute. If actual guest count exceeds the number of people expected, penalty fees may apply. Thank you for respecting these house rules. The place is QUIET, and it’s a 5 minute walk to Devil’s Punchbowl with shops and to the local beach. While we explored north and south, the beach right here was the best for beach glass and agates. The property has everything you need and nothing you don't. Everything worked great and it was well stocked with all essentials and more. The owner was in touch throughout the entire process and was a gracious host. We really enjoyed our stay at Otter Rock Oasis! The location is beautiful and nicely located between Newport and Depoe Bay. Also, there are a few beaches within walking distance. The home is comfortable and very clean. The owner has added small touches and extras that are thoughtful and nice. The upper level has a great family room with big windows, large couch, game table & games, big screen tv, and most importantly, a beautiful view of the ocean. We enjoyed opening the windows at night and sleeping to the sound of waves. In the mornings, we'd take a short walk to Devil's Punchbowl and then grab coffee and sweets at the Cliffside Coffee and Sweets. The kitchen includes all the cooking accessories and modern appliances. The beds were very comfortable with comforters, lots of pillows, and plenty of extra blankets. Our kids loved the large upstairs bedroom and being able to spread out. Wifi was very good. The TV included a Roku device as well as access to Netflix, Hulu and Disney. The location was great - only a short walk from tide pools and a nice secluded beach, and within a few minutes’ drive of Newport. The place was clean, the rooms were spacious, the beds were comfy, and with plenty of linens and towels. The kitchen was very well appointed. We’d definitely stay here again. ##### Brian D. It was absolutely amazing! My two friends and I had a “girls getaway’ and it was perfect! The second we stepped through the door it felt like home away from home! We slept upstairs and the view of the ocean and the crashing of the waves was so relaxing. The neighborhood was so quiet! We throughly enjoyed the hot tub and across the street took us to the beach and Devils Punch bowl. It’s a unmaintained road, and when you got to the end of the path, you have to go down a man made path that is a little steep but for us (61 1 with two knees, 1 with a bad foot and 1 with two bad hips we did it just fine multiple time a day). The other direction about a block away there are a LOT of steps to get down to see the beach and the top of Devil’s Punch Bowl but was totally worth it! We stayed three nights and four days and honestly wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely be booking this rental again! We had the best week at this house! The house was very clean and well stocked. When we were home we spent most of our time upstairs. It was great to be able to see the ocean out the windows and relax on the large couch and leather chairs. The game nook with table was great! We loved being able to hear the ocean from the house. We also loved that the entrance to the house was a key pad instead of a key. It was so nice to be able to go to the beach and not have to carry the keys. The great thing about this house is the close proximity to two different types of beaches. We had a great time! ##### Douglas S. The weather and the tides were on our side so we were able to explore the nearby tide pools, walk on the beach, sit on the deck, and just relax! The house is perfect from the inside to the location, the kids are never bored and having a house big enough really takes the strain off as a parent vs being trapped in a hotel/motel. We make 75% of our meals at the house rather then eating out and enjoy the rest of the time at the beach. Thank you so much, until next year!! ##### Sierra C. Spacious enough of all of us. Kitchen is stocked very well to be able to enjoy meals at home. Beach access so close we didn't feel like we had to go anywhere else to enjoy our time. It was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy ourselves, walking distance to Otter Rock, surfing, the Punchbowl, and the tide pools - really just perfect for us. The house is super comfortable and clean, and we enjoyed reading books and sipping tea while rocking on the porch looking out at the ocean in the near-distance.
