  • Holiday Home Anno 1768 in Osterhever on Eiderstedt

Upon request, both halves of the house can be rented together to accommodate 14 adults and 2 children!

Historic holiday home near St. Peter-Ording, the North Sea, and a sandy beach

Welcome to the Anno 1768 holiday home in Osterhever on the Eiderstedt Peninsula. This charming holiday home is part of a historic Frisian farmstead dating back to 1768 and combines North Frisian history with a peaceful rural setting, garden views, and plenty of relaxation. If you’re looking for a holiday home on the North Sea, away from the hustle and bustle yet within easy reach of St. Peter-Ording, sandy beaches, the dike landscape, and the Wadden Sea, you’ll find the perfect retreat here.

The house is situated in a quiet, secluded spot in a village on Eiderstedt and can accommodate up to 6 people. Spanning approximately 50 m² over 2 floors, it features a total of 4 rooms: on the upper floor, 2 bedrooms (double bed 200x180) and a sofa bed for 2 children (200x180) on the lower level, a cosy kitchen-living room, and 1 bathroom with a shower, toilet, sink, mirror, and hair dryer. The property is smoke-free and is particularly well-suited for families, couples, and guests who appreciate nature, tranquility, and North Frisian country life. Children and babies are welcome; a high chair is provided.

The enclosed kitchen with a dining table is well-equipped and offers everything you need for self-catering during your holiday: ceramic cooktop, oven, microwave, refrigerator with freezer compartment, dishwasher, electric kettle, toaster, blender, coffee maker, and a fully automatic coffee machine for espresso specialities. Dishes, silverware, kitchen utensils, and tea towels are also provided.

In the living area, a sofa, a sofa nook, a TV with digital connection, a radio, a stereo system, a DVD player, Wi-Fi, and a wood-burning stove ensure cosy moments. Electric heating, hot water, and practical amenities such as a clothes rack, vacuum cleaner, and smoke detector round out the comforts.

The outdoor area, featuring a garden, lawn for sunbathing, patio, patio furniture, a parasol, a beach chair, and an electric grill, invites you to relax. The exceptionally beautiful views of the countryside and garden make this holiday home an ideal place for a relaxing stay in North Frisia. Two free private parking spaces are available right next to the property. Contactless check-in and check-out allow for flexible arrival times.

Dogs are also welcome; a maximum of 2 are allowed. This makes the holiday home perfect for a dog-friendly holiday in Eiderstedt.

The location in Osterhever is ideal for excursions across the Eiderstedt Peninsula. The North Sea sandy beach and the ocean are about 20 km away, and St. Peter-Ording—with its long beach, stilt houses, and dune landscape—is easily accessible. Shopping, restaurants, public transport, and the train station are all about 10 km away in Garding. A golf course is located about 15 km away, just before SPO.

The Anno 1768 holiday home is the perfect choice for anyone looking to combine a historic holiday home on the Eiderstedt Peninsula, peace and quiet in a rural setting, proximity to the North Sea, and day trips to St. Peter-Ording.
