The whole establishment was wonderful parking underground rooms spacious and safe to access Full gym and sauna on sight beautiful cuisine for the restaurant and the breakfast choice was unheard off If all thin hotels are like this one Then good on you you’ve nailed it Thanks I’ll be searching for Thon hotels in the future when I return to Norway next year

Great stay
Great breakfast, great room. Quick walk from the train station. Only negative was the shower and tub. Water went everywhere, height of the tub was high and have to be careful getting out of the shower. No pool and a bit far from main attractions.

Parking was easy in a garage below the hotel. Huge and interesting lobby. Room was incredibly spacious and well laid out. Bathroom large. Nice tv with lots of channels. Great wifi. Breakfast options were quality items and huge assortment. Checking in and out easy. Had to use key card for elevator which was sometimes a hassle but not really a big deal and good security feature.

Overpriced
The hotel it’s outside Oslo, easy access to train to go down town. We found the breakfast quite good. The hotel lacks of amenities and it’s not close to any water as it seems on the pics. There is also no sauna as advertised on Hotels.com In general we found the nightly rate overpriced for what it offers. Also front desk service could be better. They couldn’t give us any directions or recommendations for Oslo downtown

Quieter stay and still minutes from Oslo Center
Thoroughly enjoyed my very first stay at Thon Hotel Oslofjord. Very easy transfer via local train from the airport to Sandvika Station, then very short 270 Bus hop to the hotel. Enjoyed the fair price, the generous and high quality buffet, the friendly staff, the spacious room, the dry heat sauna, the walk in back of the property, the shopping nearby. Will return next time I want to avoid Oslo Center. Thank you!

Amazing stay at this incredible location of the Thon Hotel. We are currently visiting Norway for the first time from North America and immediately the service provided by the staff at the Oslofjord goes above and beyond an amazing experience. Louis, the concierge at the front desk, has been an amazing ambassador of the Thon Hotel brand. He welcomed us with a great smile and friendly disposition, and immediately placed himself at our service. He provided us with valuable information about transportation, the city, things to do in Oslo, Sandvika, and talked to us about other great cities to experience around all Norway. He has been a well of knowledge. The hotel itself is easy to access. It is only minutes away from the Sandvika Train station by Uber. It is also quite comfortable and clean. With a contemporary design the building stands out close to the Oslo waters. Once inside, the lobby is spacious, bright, and beautifully decorated with a magnificent marble sculpture. There's also a restaurant where the early morning breakfast is served, and what a breakfast. It consists of a magnificent buffet including smoked salmon, smoothies, omelets, bacon, sausage, and eggs in various other forms, fresh fruits, pancakes with different delicious jams, and so much more, all cooked in front of you my a magnificent team of chefs. The wait staff is also great. They keep the restaurant and the tables impeccably clean, and keep the coffee flowing. Their service was impeccable.

Our Hotel stay was very nice. Room was spacious for and very courteous hotel staff. Breakfast is the highlight of this hotel. Very elaborate and several varieties from both hot and cold options. Lobby & Breakfast area is pretty big and can be a good place to spend time.

Staying here is always a pleasure. Every day starts with a great breakfast, the staff are very helpful and it is a good location. My pro tip would be to ask for an inside room - some of the outside ones are a bit noisy because of the motorway nearby

Thon Hotel Oslofjord is an excellent hotel. The hotel staff was excellent. They welcomed us to the hotel and handled all of our requests with no issues. The room was well setup and modern. The beds were comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was superb. I haven't experience a hotel breakfast with the variety of options in over 20 years.

Not a 5 star hotel but I would be happy to return
I enjoyed my stay here. Room was modern and super comfortable. Bathrooms are very 80s. Shower is in a bathtub. If you are over 6ft expect to hold the shower faucet in your hand. Breakfast buffet had a wide range of continental and uk/us things to offer. Freshly squeezed orange juice was lovely.
