Rooms are clean with good facilities. However, there was only one time of room service over 4 days and that happened in the morning we checked out which was not helpful. Supplies like toilet papers ran out because of a lack of service. The worst thing is that there is no reception or staff attending at all. We arrived 2 hours earlier than the checkin time and there was nobody to look after the luggages which most hotels usuually do. The location was fantastic; we were able to walk everywhere, and it was super convenient to reach the train station or catch a bus. Our only issue was with the showers. While the water pressure was excellent, the lack of a rubber seal on the bottom of the shower doors caused water to flood the bathroom floor each time we used it, which was quite a hassle. That said, the rooms themselves were cozy, clean, and very comfortable. Only hiccup was getting the digital key sorted as I booked last minute but it worked well once they had added my phone number - might be a problem with data feeding from Hotels.com to Vander ? The hotel has lots of character in the reception for photos etc. My studio was more modern decor but had a kitchen ( hob plus utensils, crockery, pots ) a niche dishwasher and tiny fridge plus table and chairs and a couch, not to mention two wardrobes.
