Perfect for families and friends. Apartment 2-4 persons The cosy apartment of 85 m² consists of: \- two spacious bedrooms with a double bed each \- a cosy living room with SAT-TV, a table with corner bench and a couch \- a fully equipped kitchen \- a bathroom with bathtub and shower, bidet and WC \- a nice terrace and a garden with deckchairs \- a storeroom and a box room for your skis and shoes \- washing machine on request \- free internet access (WiFi) Stua: The living room, called LA STUA in Ladin, the language spoken in the valley, is a cosy traditional wooden „Stube“ with SAT-TV, an eating table with corner bench and a sofa. On the balcony you will find a small table and sun beds. Majon: This is a very big and cosy bed room with a double bed. There is also a reading table and a couch. Majon dal sel: This is an attic room with a small couch and a double bed which can be separated. Cësa da fuech: The kitchen is very well equipped: There are an eating table and chairs, a refrigerator with freezer, a dish-washer, an oven, a gas stove, a filter coffee machine and a large array of dishes. Bani: The bathroom consists of a bathtub with shower, a bidet, a WC and a washbasin with a big mirror. Ambiente: The house is situated in a wonderfully quiet and sunny place surrounded by beautiful lush meadows on the edge of the wood (the Resciesa Forrest). You can enjoy a breathtaking view on the Sasslong, the Sella Massif and the Gardena Valley, and you can reach the town centre within only 10 walking minutes. The building is surrounded by a beautiful big garden with a lawn where you can relax and enjoy the great view on the mountains. We have sunshades and deckchairs for you and on request also a barbecue. There is a parking place available. Our house is the ideal starting point for excursions and skiing; it is situated about 500 m from the Resciesa cable car and about 800 m from the Seceda cableways. Feel good: The wainscoted apartment, the breathtaking view on the Gardena Valley and the peaceful environment is the ideal combination to escape everyday life, to relax and enjoy yourself. In the summer the wood lets you feel the freshness of the forest and in the winter it creates a warm and cosy atmosphere. On the balcony you can enjoy the afternoon sun and the sunset. You will not hear any traffic; you will, instead, be surrounded by pure peacefulness! The owner was very helpful and explained everything well. It was a great location for skiing, hiking, or visiting the Val Gardena area. It might not be ideal for a group on foot or with elderly or disabled members, as it is located on one of the higher streets in Ortisei. It was lovely. The view of Ortisei is spectacular. The house is well appointed. The rooms are of a good size and the very thing is very clean. The kitchen has everything that you need to make meals. The view is absolutely gorgeous. The Stua provides a nice place to gather. There is also a nice porch with chairs. From here it was pretty easy to get into town and to the lifts. They are simply stunning and will leave you breathless. It’s hard to believe places like this exist, we feel so blessed we got to experience it. We had a very challenging time finding the property. Thankfully I stopped a random person who happened to be a neighbor and helped me find my way. The parking is a little tricky.The home … let’s see. The stairway up is almost vertical (no exaggeration). I had two little kids with me and it was nerve wracking when they went up and down. Getting suitcases up is just very hard - I’m going to be honest. If you have any accessibility issues whatsoever keep this in mind. The layout of the house is quite odd but maybe typical for the type of property. The views from the bedrooms are stunning. The apartment does sit above another apartment which I didn’t realize. Traveling with kids I want them to be able to be wild and free and I was so concerned with them being quiet to not disturb the owner below. This wasn’t ideal. There’s multiple other dwellings / living situations going on - kind of a compound. The communication with the owners son was very easy and he was very responsive. I don’t speak Italian or German so I wasn’t able to speak with the owner at all. But to reiterate - the view and the grounds were honestly life changing. Die Treppe zur Wohnung ist recht eng und steil, d.h. mit sperrigem Gepäck nicht ganz einfach, für normale tägliche Nutzung aber absolut ausreichend. Die Eltern des Vermieters wohnen unten im Haus, waren supernett, haben uns herzlich willkommen geheißen und gute Tipps gegeben. Direkt am Haus fließt ein Bach, ein Wanderweg verläuft hinter dem Haus, auf den Balkon scheint nachmittags/abends noch die Sonne und durch die Lage oberhalb des Ortes hat man tolle Ausblicke auf St. Ulrich und die umliegenden Berge inkl. Lang-/Plattkofel. Durch diese Lage ist allerdings der Weg in den Ort und wieder hoch recht lang und steil, nach langen Wanderungen kann das sehr anstrengend sein. Da die Busfahrkarten (gültig in ganz Südtirol) vom Vermieter gestellt werden, das Grödnertal gut mit Bussen erschlossen ist und Auto fahren inklusive Parken eher schwierig ist, waren wir fast nur autofrei unterwegs. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. ##### Heike H. Wir hatten zwei herrliche, ruhige, genussvolle Wochen in diesem wunderschönen Apartment. Gut, man kann nicht mal schnell zu Fuß beim Bäcker Brötchen holen, weil man zurück doch einen respektablen Aufstieg hat - aber man kann ja für ein paar Tage im Voraus einkaufen. (Im Supermarkt Despar gibt es gute Aufbackbrötchen, während der Conad wunderbare frische Brötchen und sehr gute Wurst hat - und zumindest am Sontag findet man zum Einkaufen auch gut einen Parkplatz - an dem Tag sollte man möglichst viel einkaufen.) Und die Vorteile der Lage am oberen Rand des Dorfes direkt am Waldrand und am lauscheligen Flüsschen wiegen alles auf. Kaum noch was zu hören von abendlicher Musik im vollgestopften Ortszentrum. Ab und zu ein leises Hahnkrähen oder Ziegenmeckern. Und dieser gigantische Blick auf Langkofelgruppe und Sellamassiv! Das Apartment liegt in einem 500 Jahre alten Bauernhaus mit massiven Steinwänden und ist auch bei größter Hitze angenehm kühl. Die Mutter des Vermieters wohnt direkt darunter und ist immer bereit, Fragen zu beantworten oder ein sehr nettes Schwätzchen zu halten. Wir hatten das Gefühl, ein bisschen zum Dorf dazuzugehören. Überhaupt war die Betreuung durch die Vermieter ganz besonders freundlich! Und die Ausflüge in diese gigantisch schöne Umgebung waren einer wie der andere spektakulär und wunderschön. Wir haben uns für die ganze Zeit die Gardena-Card gegönnt und hatten dann die freie Wahl unter den vielen Seilbahnen; das hat sich sehr gelohnt, zumal alle drei Seilbahnen in St. Ulrich zu Fuß erreichbar sind; an denen in Santa Christina und in Wolkenstein kann man gut parken; die Busverbindungen sollen aber auch gut sein, und vom Vermieter gibt es kostenlose Buskarten dazu. Wer mal einen Klettersteig oder Seilklettern am Berg ausprobieren will, dem sei die Kletterschule Catores nur zu empfehlen. Begführer Lucas Pitscheider hat unserem Urlaub das besondere Etwas gegben. Und seitdem sind wir absolut Klettersteig-begeistert. ##### Erika S. Die holzvertäfelte und urgemütliche Ferienwohnung in einem typischen Berghof liegt wunderschön und ruhig am Hang über dem quirligen St. Ulrich, von wo aus Bergbahnen zum Naturpark Puez Geisler und zur Seiser Alm führen. In der grandiosen Landschaft sind alle auf ihre Kosten gekommen, ob bei ausgedehnten Genusswanderungen auf der Alm, abenteuerlichen Touren im Hochgebirge oder beim Klettern. Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet und verfügt über einen großen Balkon. Auch den Garten mit seinen Sitzecken kann man nutzen. Die Gastgeber wohnen selbst im Haus und sind sehr freundlich. Eine Buskarte war inbegriffen. Wir haben uns dazu noch eine Wochenkarte für die Gondeln gekauft und haben das Auto weitgehend stehen gelassen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. ##### Sabine H. Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet und liegt unter dam Dach. Das hat den Vorsteil,, dass einem niemand auf dem Kopf rumtrampelt. Der Zugang zur Wohnung führt über eine steile Treppe, was aber kein Problem ist, wenn man gut zu Fuss ist. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und bemüht Allfällige anliegen zu erfüllen. Het is een ruim appartement en zeer schoon. De keuken voorziet in alles wat men nodig heeft. De bedden zijn prima. De eigenaar (mevrouw) is heel vriendelijk en zeer behulpzaam. Vanaf de skilift met volle bepakking, ski/snowboard materiaal is het een zware klim omhoog naar het appartement. De bus die vanaf de ski-lift/pist vertrekt brengt je in de buurt van het appartement en dan is het nog maar een relatief klein stukje omhoog lopen. Jammer is dat de bus later op de avond (rond etenstijd) al niet meer rijdt. Verder is het echt een prima plek om te verblijven. Heerlijk rustig, wel wat ver van het centrum, maar verder helemaal goed. De pistes en het gebied zijn al helemaal geweldig, eveneens het weer toen wij er waren. Familie O, Bedankt! ##### Ronald V. Archival ### 10/10 Excellent #### Arnd B. 13 Aug 2014 #### Sehr gemütliche Wohnung mit allem Comfort Zunächst einmal ist erwähnenswert, dass das Objekt etwas oberhalb am Rande von St. Ulrich liegt. Vom Garten aus hat man einen fantastischen Blick auf St. Ulrich, den Langkofel und den Sella-Stock. Wer will, kann sich daher in der Dämmerung das „Verfärben“ der Dolomiten-Gipfel anschauen. Die Wohnung ist fast vollständig mit Holz ausgestattet und daher sehr gemütlich. Es gibt neben den im Angebot genannten Räumen sogar einen Abstellraum mit ca. 4-5qm, in den man seine Koffer oder Vorräte stellen kann. Alles ist sehr sauber und praktisch eingerichtet. Die Küche ist umfangreich ausgestattet: Von der Geschirrspülmaschine bis zum Schneidebrett ist alles vorhanden. Den Garten kann man mitbenutzen. Dort befindet sich z. B. ein kleines Häuschen, in dem man z. B. frühstücken kann oder auch ein kleines Beet, bei dem man sich mit Kräutern bedienen darf. Insgesamt muss man schon suchen, um etwas Kritisches zu bemerken. Auf Anhieb fällt mir nur der steile Zugang zur Wohnung ein. Aber auch der ist am Ende kein Problem. Die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und sie hat uns wertvolle Wandertipps und Hüttenempfehlungen gegeben. Insgesamt haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. ##### Arnd B. ---
