The building is three storeys and split into two houses (attached at the rear wall) - the apartment is the top two storeys of one of them (the other half of the building is currently not occupied). The apartment is a good size, well presented & well equipped with a reasonably sized kitchen alcove & there is a large balcony which is good for both dining and just relaxing. The garden, which is not well maintained, contains a number of fruit trees - while we were there we were picking and eating nespole & lemons from two of them. (We also cooked with oil made from Mario's olives, and drank wine made from Mario' grapes.) The apartment is about 1 km from the centre of Orosei, about a 15 minute walk, and about 3.5 km from the beach at Marina di Orosei. Orosei has a good supply of restaurants etc. but is not very touristy, so the pace is quite gentle. There are lots of beaches near to Orosei (the beach at Marina di Orosei is very big) and good access into the mountains. While we were in Orosei they held the Festa di Santa Maria (normally held on the last Sunday of May, I think) which involves a colourful procession through the town, nice to see some of the local culture & traditions. Mario was very friendly and helpful (we did not meet Mirka) and he introduced us to some good restaurants (Osalla Beach Garden, south of Orosei - Villa Fumosa in Orosei and, our favourite, Relax Ristorante at Cala Ginepro) and beaches (Spiaggia Marzellinu and Spiaggia Fuile e Mare, both north of Orosei near Cala Liberotto). Most of the beaches we found had coarse gritty sand but Spiaggia Fuile e Mare is fine sand - Spiaggia Marzellinu is in a rocky little bay which is nice to snorkel around. ##### ej w. Die FeWo war hervorragend ausgestattet und hatten einen eigenen Parkplatz. Die Wohnung war sauber und der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter sehr nett und herzlich. Sowohl im Vorfeld also auch dann vor Ort. Jederzeit erreichbar und sehr hilfsbereit! Vor allem die Waschmaschine und der Geschirrspüler waren Luxus in den Ferien! Wir können diese FeWo uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Wir hatten gleich das Gefühl, gut angekommen zu sein. Das Haus ist sehr großzügig, komfortabel und modern eingerichtet. Es war alles da, selbst ein Gasgrill, ein Feigenbaum, ein Granatapfelbaum und ein Olivenbaum. Die große Terrasse lädt zum Verweilen ein. Es fehlte uns an nichts. Wir wohnten zurückgezogen in einem ruhigen Villenviertel für Einheimische und doch zentrumsnah. Der Bäcker und der Laden für alle täglichen Dinge sind in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Die Tipps unserer Gastgeber zu Restaurants, Schnorchelstrand und Ausflügen in den Nationalpark des Golfs von Orosei haben wir gern umgesetzt. Dankeschön den Gastgebern ##### Kathrin S. Das Haus ist sehr groß mit drei Zimmer und zwei Bädern. In der Küche war alles vorhanden. Wir haben viel gekocht und hatten auch genug Platz zu fünft. Auf der Veranda haben wir gegessen und uns auch so aufgehalten. Das Meer ist in 3,5 Km zu erreichen. Die Strände rund um Orosei sind traumhaft. Alles in allem war sehr schön. Il y a la climatisation mais nous ne l'avons pas utilisée, même avec la chaleur de juillet la maison est fraîche et bien ventilée. Elle est très bien équipée, même pour une famille assez nombreuse. Elle se situe à 10 minutes à pieds du centre ville et pour les courageux à 40 minutes à pieds de la plage. Le propriétaire Mario est vraiment très sympathique et donne de bons conseils. Il est très serviable et réagit très rapidement à la moindre demande d'aide. Nos avons eu un problème de voiture, par chance Mario est un ancien garagiste, il nous a été d'une très grande aide, à la fois en donnant son avis sur la panne et en nous accompagnant chez un garagiste très compétant. De inrichting is wat gedateerd maar schoon en functioneel. De ontvangst was buitengewoon vriendelijk. In de levensbehoefte voor de eerste dag/dagen was zelfs voorzien zoals koffie, (mineraal)water, fruit, eieren en wat alcoholische versnaperingen. De ligging van het huis vormt een goede uitvalsbasis voor bezoek(en) aan het gezellige centrum van Orosei met z'n vele restaurants, het strand en plaatsen in de omgeving.
