Country stone house. Renovated in an old farmhouse, located 'au Dours' 32260 Ornézan. Lots of charm. Quiet. Large rooms. 1 hour from the mountain and 1h30 from the ocean. Heating extra. Attic insulation as well as double glazing on existing windows. Swimming pool with balneotherapy. Life has always been good in Gascony and here in this little corner of the south of Gers, in particular. The housing scattered in the countryside is organised around small farms. The canal tile punctuates the space. During the summer, the Gers department offers many events: July 14th, Mirande country festival; July 25th, Latin tempo in Vic-Fesenzac; August 15th, jazz festival in Marciac; for Pentecost, bullfights and bodegas in Vic-Fesenzac etc......... On the spot, you can find books to discover the different places to visit. Examples: Auch with its monumental staircases, the Jacobin museum without forgetting the Sainte Marie cathedral; the different bastides (Bassoues etc...); in Lupiac, the museum of D'ARTAGNAN; the farm inns.
Discovery of the Astarac region: During your stay, you can first get your bearings by the pool in comfortable sunbeds or even in the kitchen or rest area with a view of the Gers hillsides. As for the swimming pool, there is no vis-à-vis with the owners.
Afterwards, you can discover the city of Auch (cathedral, monumental staircases, Jacobin museum...). But also, the city of Lectoure which is located in the north of the Gers with its assets (exhibition on the blue cart of yesteryear, called the blue of Lectoure........). Condom, which is a charming town where you could see the film 'Happiness is in the meadow'. Samatan is the town famous for its Monday fat market (foie gras confit, etc.). Next to the latter is Lombez where you can admire the church and the bastide.
After the visit of the foie gras, comes the good Gers wine which is near viella (pacherenc, madiran ) but also the Tariquet in Eauze........
Then you can escape to the mountains or to Toulouse which is an hour away from the rental.
Finally, our charming house welcomes you all year round with family, couples, friends etc......
It is available by the week but also by the weekend of 2, 3 or 4 days, as you see fit.
TO KNOW:
In the summer period, i.e. from July 1st to August 31st, reservations are preferably made from Saturday to Saturday.
Outside the summer period, the rates per night are:
For 2 people 90 euros; for 3 to 4 people 95 euros and for 5 to 6 people 110 euros.
In the summer season, the night is 160 euros with swimming pool

This year, renovation of the pool liner, therefore, the pool will be opened not before June 1, 2020.
If the temperature is 25° for a week before this date (April or during May), the pool will be functional.
If the liner is changed before this date, I will inform you.
