There is a new Publix grocery store within walking distance and also a small homemade doughnut shop that makes the BEST doughnuts! - but you have to get there early for a good selection as the locals grab them up 😉! There are also numerous nationally recognized Art festivals that are so fun to stroll through.. St. Augustine is only about 35-40 minutes away, Kennedy Space center is a great excursion, and Orlando/ Disney etc is about 60 minutes. It is very popular with many of our couples or families make day trips to the Disney/Universal theme parks and then come home to sleep with the waves and enjoy the beach in between a day trip. It is a wonderful option because you can enjoy the parks and the beach during the same week! Our beach and large oceanfront pool is a magnificent private beach accessed only through our building. We are 100% non smoking and no pet property. (We love pets but are unable to accommodate them at this property). The condo had beautiful interior design and all furnishings were great. The location was perfect for our needs! The beach and pool area were super quiet and it felt very private. We loved waking up to the sunrise and hearing the waves every day. From the decor, location, cleanliness and peacefulness to THE VIEW! I could sit on that patio with my morning coffee and watch the sunrise every day! We also loved watching the dolphins swim back and forth. The beach was literally steps away and not overcrowded at all. The condo has a wonderful view and is beautifully decorated. The beach was spotless (no sargassum in this part of Florida!) . As everyone else says, Susan is an excellent owner. First of all, I would like to say the host, Susan, was an absolute pleasure. I chose her property based on the decor and the views. Once we arrived, we were not disappointed. The building itself is a bit dated but her condo exceeded my expectations. The property was very clean and smelled AMAZING. The views were excellent and I'm going to miss the sound of the waves outside of my window. If I'm ever in the Daytona/Ormond Beach area again, I would not hesitate to stay here. There's a wide selection of restaurants near by as well as a Publix basically across the street. Susan was kind enough to provide an extensive list of places to eat and things to do.
