Blue Heron Escape accommodates 8 and on the Lake

Located on the serene and beautiful Lake Bryan is our escape from reality. Disney World is right around the corner too. We can accommodate many, and still make it feel roomy and at home. This home away from home includes all of these amenities; tiki bar, 3 heated swimming pools, spa and kiddie pool, waterfront allows jet skis, motor boats, fishing and water skiing, fitness center, game room, a mini golf course right outside, and a 24/7 concierge service. Wonderful place, close to everything!

This was a really fun property to stay at. We had access to the pool, the condo itself and it was close enough to Uber everywhere -the outlets, Disney and Universal! It was our perfect home away from home :)

We went to Universal parks 3 days, with 1 rest day. Location is great. Easy 20 minute drive to parks. Enjoyed the pool area on our rest day. Condo was very clean and comfortable. We didn't use the kitchen, so can't speak to that.

Unit was as advertised. Stayed at Blue Heron 11 years ago and it was as we remembered it. Location is great, pool is big, heated and perfect for the family. Having two king beds was very nice to have.

Great spot for exploring the parks

As described, great location and place to stay while visiting all the parks in the area. Pros: location, place comfortably fit 4 adults and 2 kids, beautiful views, nice pool, appointed nicely, full kitchen, parking was easy, check in/out was a breeze and communication from the host was very timely. Fireworks visible from the front hallway was a huge plus. Couldn’t get easier driving to the parks, great jump off location.Cons: similar to other reviews that the hallway lights were quite bright and the curtain did not block out the light in the second and third bedrooms, came prepared with sleep masks which worked out ok. Cleanliness was the only other negative, could have been better. Overall great place to stay, 5 stars!

Overall it’s a great unit. Has everything we need and it’s conveniently located to all the parks. I love that it has a kitchen and laundry machine. Home away from home! Only suggestions I may have is 1) get black out blinds for the master. The sun shines in there in the morning which makes it hard to sleep in. 2) get a lock for the guest bathroom. 3) master bath door does shut. 4) bed could use a better mattress and beddings.

Clean spacious condo with great views and location

We really enjoyed our stay here. Check-in and checkout were smooth and the place was very clean when we arrived. The condo was larger than we expected from the pictures, and the views looking over the lake, as well as looking towards Disney from the elevator lobby, were lovely. Getting to Disney, especially the Springs area, was about as easy as can be for staying off-property, and things right next to the Blue Heron like the mini golf and Starbucks were nice to have. The only downsides were the curtains in the front rooms were too thin and let in a lot of light from the hallway, and the bunk bed mattresses were very basic. We didn't try sleeping on the futon, but I'd recommend eye masks or avoiding the bunk beds for anyone who's not a heavy sleeper. Overall it was a great experience and we'd stay here again!
