Resort was immaculate. So new, clean, and a great atmosphere. The grounds were beautifully maintained and the views from the grounds and the rooms were amazing! On top of a great resort, the staff were so helpful, attentive, and friendly. Shoutout to Ashley at Gaia House of Grill and Yuly at Bucatini during breakfast service! Food was amazing as well and it made it easy to not feel the need to leave the resort.

The most beautiful, luxurious and relaxing stay, everything and everyone was amazing! We will be back again! Only thing to recommend is look into the different meal plans depending on your eating and budget preferences. We added on the breakfast plan since it was only two of us and paid for all other meals and drinks when we wanted them. We loved JOIA!

Paradise! On the most beautiful beach I’ve ever seen. Service and accommodations were perfection. I also love how there are so many different kinds of beds, cabanas, etc and there was never an issue getting the type of seating you wanted. Everyone who works here is happy and helpful. The food was very good at the restaurants — definitely do the breakfast buffet! But I also would have enjoyed the all inclusive if I went that route because all the hotel restaurants were great. (We did eat off property and enjoyed that too)

By far one of the best vacation experiences I have ever had. Me and my wife went for our honeymoon and it was one of the best weeks I have ever had. The staff was awesome in every way. The rooms felt very modern and clean. We did the bed and breakfast option rather than all inclusive because we wanted to explore the food on the island. The breakfast options were great with a wide variety. The property is also located right across the street from eagle beach. It was by far the most beautiful beach I have ever visited. I would highly recommend this location to anyone looking to take a vacation.

I personally am not a resort person but my husband is and when our other travel plans fell through, I booked Aruba and this resort very last minute. We stayed at an Iberostar hotel in Mallorca and that was okay. This hotel was So much better. I didn’t know what to expect and I have to say I was so pleasantly surprised. The resort felt high-end. It’s always the subtle details that make a five star hotel genuinely worth the money - the staff, the amenities, and the experience from morning to night. Staff were wonderful, breakfast options were really nice. The beach was wonderful. We loved the live music by the adult pool. The speaker music was also great - that can sometimes be a little tacky. Overall guests were polite and quiet, which is nice for those who are paying a lot of money to wind back and relax. Gaia restaurant had a few wanna be influencers who had full on phone conversations on speakerphone, but otherwise, the resort had a sophisticated feel.

After spending 4 days here I have mixed feelings. The grounds are pretty and the rooms are lovely. However we had issues with electricity going out in half the hotel, restaurants being closed and the AC not working well in our room. These issues were fixed by the hotel. The staff were all very friendly, polite and professional. The major downside for us was the lack of service around the main pool and the construction which closed areas with wire fences and subjected all the guests to jack hammering and grinding concrete. It was like trying to relax next to a freeway construction zone. I get that hotels have to do maintenance but they really should tell guests before they book. Though nobody would willingly book if they knew. Which is why hotels keep it a secret till you get there. We are at the three restaurants.

This was our second time visiting JOIA and it was an excellent stay like the first time, which is why we returned. We had a minor inconvenience on our third day but one of the managers Mariana went above and beyond to rectify the situation. We were truly appreciative and thankful for the level of service she provided.

The staff was amazing, very welcoming and helpful! We loved the breakfast too. The selection of fruits, proteins, and juices was vast and soooo good. Truly a relaxing four days!!

The property is beautiful and very well maintained, both in the public areas and our room. As many people note, the service can be particularly slow at times, but overall the service was great. We were on the all-inclusive package, and my wife and I both enjoyed the food at all the restaurants. The quality was very high, with a good variety including meats (steak and lamb chops), fish, and vegetarian options. There is no nightlife to speak of on the property, so we went off site. Bartenders were great, especially at the swim up bar. Overall we were very satisfied, will stay there when we return to Aruba, and highly recommend Joia.
