Orange Avenue is the hub of Orlando’s nightlife scene. This downtown area is a long thoroughfare lined with dance clubs, piano lounges, music venues and dozens of bars. There is something for everyone here, whether you want fine dining, a raucous evening of partying, loud and lively music or simply a quiet place to unwind with drink.

Just off North Orange Avenue is Wall Street Plaza, a small pedestrianized street with differently themed bars and restaurants. Come here on Friday and Saturday nights for the outdoor block parties. The plaza also throws some of downtown Orlando’s biggest fiestas during annual holidays such as St Patrick’s Day, Halloween, New Year’s Eve and Cinco de Mayo.
Watch a new or classic play at Theatre Downtown or sit back in a comfortable chair for the latest movie blockbuster at the avenue’s multiplex.
Save some energy for the dance floors. From exclusive nightclubs with VIP rooms and large dance areas to intimate bars hosting local DJs, Orange Avenue has a wide-ranging mix of dance venues.
Orange Avenue is one of downtown Orlando’s most popular streets and is well served by public transport. In addition to the Lynx bus network, there is Lymmo. This is a free bus service that runs every 10 minutes during the evening and has bus stops on and near the avenue. There are also plenty of metered parking lots and garages within the vicinity. For something different, reach the downtown destination by horse drawn carriage or by pedicabs, bike taxis with room for four passengers.
