"Vielleicht kann man mich schon fast als Stammgast bezeichnen. Das Hotel verändert sich weiter positiv. Man kann eine Karte für den Nahverkehr in Jena bekommen, das finde ich super! Die nächste Haltestelle ist ca. 2 Minuten entfernt. Nah genug um bequem dorthin zu kommen und weit genug um keine Geräuschentwicklung zu vernehmen. Parkmöglichkeiten gibt es auf der gegenüber liegenden Straßenseite. Zur Zeit noch kostenfrei, aber die Schranke ist schon angebracht. Die Zimmer sind bequem und sauber....

The staff asks you to fill out a form for the breakfast order and to throw that form into a mailbox, which as well was not easy to find. Breakfast was good, however. You will notice the age of place but all is clean and tidy and the staff is friendly."

"The real stand-out was the breakfast. It had absolutely everything, including champagne. The staff were generally friendly, although we did overhear a conversation where one member of staff was the opposite of friendly. Otherwise, staff were just wonderful. Our room was roomy ... the bed was a dream. Haven't slept so well for years. It is expensive, but the breakfast was worth every cent!"

"A lovely hotel, well served every 20 mins by the local bus. NB the evening I was there the restaurant was closed for a rpivate function, which meant walking 20mins or getting the bus back into town to find a restaurant. The hotel pool was nice BUT only open 4-9pm on weekdays. Come on hotel, that's not good enough!"

"Place was good, but not excellent. Really nice modern style, comfy bed and great bathroom. However annoying light outside my room from 6am-11.15pm. Parking a little confusing, would be good to explain before booking. Cleaner seemed to leave cloths/rags in the room, which had been used. Nothing around seemed to open before 8am for breakfast, struggled to find anywhere as I was up early."
