A wonderfully kept old building with lots of character. It would’ve been great to have stayed in the main building but we were allocated a room in the new annex. Very clean and orderly with the atmosphere of an officers’ mess. It was very quiet except for a small conference group. It is a walk away from the Navy Museum plus others. Pleasant walks are all round the property. While not the usual hotel experience it was novel.

"Had to ask for towels, bins and sheets to be changed. Rooms are not cleaned daily. Also the bedding was not clean on our arrival. Nice spa area. Nice breakfast. Pleasant front desk staff."
