"Lovely place, just off a main road so a handy break in my trip from Poprad Tatry Airport to Hlinne. Staff were friendly and helpful - and they spoke English, which was a definite advantage for me. They also have English menus. My previous stay, somewhere with no English menus or speakers, wasn't pleasant, but this stay was. Before anyone comments. I was in their country so they didn't have to speak English or have English menus - but it helps. "

Frequently asked questions

When is the best time to go to Ondrašovce?
The best time to visit Ondrašovce is typically during the warmer months, from late spring (May) to early autumn (September).

These months offer the most pleasant weather for exploring the Prešov Region. You'll find comfortable temperatures for outdoor activities like hiking or visiting local attractions. The days are longer, allowing for more sightseeing, and the natural scenery is at its most appealing.

For those interested in hiking and enjoying the natural beauty, June to August are ideal. The forests are lush, and the opportunities for exploring the surrounding countryside are excellent. This period is also popular for local festivals and events in nearby towns, offering a chance to experience regional culture.

Travellers looking for a quieter experience with pleasant weather might prefer May or September. The crowds are typically smaller, and the mild temperatures are still very agreeable for exploring without the peak summer heat.
