We had 12 guests, 10 adults and 2 kids (6 & 10). The layout of the house works very well. Plenty of bathrooms. The upper floor works fine for a family with 2 kids. That bathroom is shared. All other bedrooms have their own bath. The kitchen is a little small, not a lot of room for groceries. The deck is nice and so are the 2 living areas. The hot tub was nice and seemed pretty new. Be prepared for stairs! With 5 good sized bedrooms on 3 different floors as well as the little studio there was plenty of private space. Super nice to have so many bathrooms as well. Although the main living area and kitchen was a bit on the smaller side for a larger group to sit around it was pretty well equipped for making meals. The deck was good for barbecuing and we all enjoyed the hot tub, although a table or someplace to put towels or sit outside there would have been nice. Everything was clean and maintained. Great location for Tahoe city and just a short ride to kings beach. The house was the perfect space to host all 10 of us! When we arrived there was some landscaping construction taking place that we weren't made aware of, but I was able to contact the property management company who spoke with the owner and assured us they wouldn't interfere with our stay. Because we were in and out of the house for wedding festivities it wasn't a huge problem. There was plenty of space for all 4 cars and It was great to be able to utilize the garage! All of the beds were comfortable and there were enough towels provided for everyone. This place is spacious! We never felt on top of each other and were able to have all of our meals at the large dining table in the main room. It was nice that most of the rooms felt private and separate from the living areas. We enjoyed the deck for morning coffee and evening wines. The hot tub was a great way to unwind after a busy weekend! The neighbor was super friendly and we all took a particular liking to the golden retriever puppy Mojo we met on arrival!
