Room was attractive with small fridge, microwave, and comfortable bed...all I needed for a low price. Other than the room having a slight musty smell, I had a good two-night stay.

The property smelled like smoke, and the room smelled horrible. Didn’t get our security deposit back because we used one of their towels to clean. Not sure how a $3 hand towel that can easily be washed equates to a $150 deposit being taken from me. Room was cramped and the fridge barely fit our food so a lot of it spoiled.

The room smelled bad because you burned something in our microwave and continued to use it for the next few days until the plastic was completely melted. We are very lucky that it never caught fire. You also didn't bother to tell us about it so we didn't know until you checked out. The towel that you ruined was used to try to clean the burned microwave that you also ruined. Your deposit was used to replace the microwave.

Typical small town motel property, not great, not bad. Staff is friendly and professional. Room decor and furnishings are very dated, carpet threadbare in spots. Appears to be kept clean and well-run by the staff, but it's an old motel. Based on this it's still good value for money. And is more centrally located than many options, including being just a one block walk from the Starbucks in the Safeway.

An "old school" motel
I've agonized about this review. On one hand it's clear they really cared about the room's condition and cleanliness, but they just seemed to be fighting a battle with an older facility. The key letdown was the strong smell of mildew in the bathroom. I never tracked it down so it could have been something simple like the shower curtain (it wasn't the towels!), but it was very off-putting. A windy night contributed to my near-sleepless night. The check-in and check-out clerks were good.

Room was dirty. Stains on carpet. Looks nothing like the pictures in the listing. Mold caused me respiratory issues and bedding made me itch. Front desk would not allow me to look at the room before checking in — you have to roll the dice and pay before you can see what you’re getting. Will not stay here again. Especially when they want some customers to pay a $150 deposit.

A great value. It's older but well kept and very clean. Despite the very detailed written instructions, I had trouble figuring out how to run the heat pump. I should have inquired before it got too late. Close to stores and fast food. We would stay here again when in the area.

Everything was basically fine. I was in town working night shift on a project and it would have been nice if people outside the room would have been a little quieter during the day. Other than that everything was great.

The woman who manned the desk, and probably did everything else, was wonderful. However, this is a very old, dated property in severe need of updating and a thorough cleaning. In its current condition, I recommend staying away. I am disappointed in saying that because I had such high hopes, given the attentiveness of the property manager before my stay and her friendly greeting upon arrival. Sadly, whoever owns the property has put her in a really bad spot.

Ok stay : room 101 was next to motel laundry and no parking spots in front of room. A bit noisy with morning staff conversations. Pillows were hard and thick if you like that. Good value otherwise.

My stay was very pleasant! The room and bathroom were very clean as well as the sheets and towels. For the price, it was exactly what I needed for a weekend wedding! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for an affordable and comfortable place to stay for a few nights.

Vintage
Vintage French provincale was a big change from what I've been accustomed to with chains like Hilton and Marriott but it really grew on me. Loved the wood trim, shutters, cedar ceiling in the bathroom, and stucco walls. Bed was a little soft for my taste but I slept great after hiking all day. Super great touch for using real coffee cups instead of paper in just about every other hotel I've ever been too. Would love to see them put a little more effort into restoration. The drawback of being on the first floor is you will need to keep the curtains closed to avoid everyone from seeing in; maybe adding some translucent curtains. All in all, it was a great savings, great location and I would go back.

There were stains on the bedding and walls. Bed was broken, light switches broken, dead bugs stuck in picture frames. Noise all night long. I will never stay again.

The carpet was totally soaking wet when we got there and I believe that may have been the cause of the smell in the room. It smelled pretty bad like old socks or something. They did however bring in towels to put over the wet spots. The people working however were very friendly and apologetic that there wasn’t much to be done about the situation.

I'm so very sorry. We were sold out or I would have moved you guys to a different room. We try to stay on top of things like this, and we are replacing the fridge, which was the cause of the wet carpet. We are just very sorry that it could not have been fixed sooner so that you could have had a pleasant stay with us.
