The property owner was very nice and accomadating. We were late because of flight cancels but she was awake until midnight we come and made sure we checked in. The breakfast is excellent, authentic and fresh. Loved our entire stay. Cant say enough good things about this place. Their 2 dogs negrito and chicho greet everyone.

We stayed at Kamma Guest House for 2 nights and had an amazing stay. Both of the women running the hotel are wonderful hosts. They go above and beyond to make you feel welcomed. Excellent location and a great breakfast included as a bonus!

Liz and her staff were friendly, resourceful and always somehow there and available. Beds and linens were perfect and with the sound of the rushing water in the aqueducts it sounded like you were beside a babbling brook! Highly recommended. Excellent breakfasts were included.

We LOVED Kamma House! Liz and Paola were so welcoming and helpful with everything - maps and recommendations, laundry service (!), even arranging a porter and then a driver to get us safely back to Cusco. The bedding was so cozy and the little veranda was an added surprise. Breakfast is served on the rooftop deck overlooking the Pinkalluna granaries in one direction and the sun temple ruins on the other. It is a divine way to start the day. I definitely recommend Kamma House!

Kamma Guest House is a lovely place to stay, close to the quaint main square and restaurants. Liz is an amazing host, very warm and welcoming, and was more than happy to assist us when we had a hiccup with our travel plans. The view from breakfast was so peaceful and looks over the ruins. Thank you Liz for a very enjoyable stay, we will be back one day!

Excellent. The hosts were friendly professionals and pay attention to details. The breakfast was way above average with French pressed coffee and fresh squeezed orange juice on the roof terrace. I highly recommend this lodge.

Absolute gem in the sacred valley
Amazing hosts, super clean and comfortable, great blend of a well run hotel vs a charming b&b. From the moment you stepped thru the doors you get a very warm and personalized welcome followed by the fastest check in process. The room was immaculate and while small it uses the space well so you have enough flat surfaces for things and even a small balcony. If you are a couple with lots of luggage you may not find this to be the right situation but for those who travel light and don’t need to sit around the room much it’s the one for you.

Amazing property and owner. Incredible breakfast on the rooftop, overlooking Ollantaytambo. The main ruins are accessible via a gate that is literally 10 feet away from the front door. Ask Lis about the “museum”, 2 blocks away, where you can eat and drink inside a pre-Incan structure that is perhaps 1,000 years old, 500 years older than Machupicchu

Kamma Guest House
The Kamma Guest house is a wonderful hotel to stay at! The ladies who run the hotel were helpful with suggestions on sights to see, where to shop and have us some wonderful restaurant recommendations! We received a fresh hot breakfast each morning with a amazing view out of the terrace windows! If you are in Ollantaytambo and stay at Kamma Guest…you will not regret it!

This was a great place to stay for our brief 2 night trip. The owners were very friendly and hospitable. They made sure we were comfortable and enjoyed our time in Ollentaytumbo. Great breakfast and the views from the rooftop were beautiful.

Stayed at Kamma Guest House for two days during our trip to Machu Picchu. We checked out and left our luggages on the 2nd day when we went to Machu Picchu. And we came back again on the 3rd days for another night. We really fueled that we were home when Back to Kamma Guest House. Liz is very kindness and helpful. She given our suggestions about what to do in Ollantaytabmo. We are very enjoyed time we were in the town. I would like to come back again if I had chance come to Ollantaytabmo. I highly recommend it!

A memorable stay
Stayed at Kamma Guest House for two days and truly enjoyed our stay. The place is very cozy, clean, on a quite street yet very convenient location. Liz communicated so well prior to our trip as well as during our stay. She helped me booked a private transportation from Cusco airport and we customized the trip down to Ollantaytambo based on her recommendation and our situation. When our car arrived, Liz met us and helped with our luggage. Breakfast was also great. On the last day of our stay, we needed to check out ahead of the normal breakfast time. Liz even got up earlier and prepared hearty breakfast for us. Kamma Guest House is very professionally managed and I highly recommend it! Actually already recommended to my friends.

Amazing views and friendly staff!
I highly recommend staying here! The staff are so friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and the views of the ruins are fantastic, especially from the top floor terrace.

As much as I like to support the small businesses, I have to say that I was disappointed with my stay with this property. The property is just very basic with small room and small bathroom. Very bare basic nothing else. Particularly I'm not happy with the fact that the host overcharged the transportation and tour (you could literally get better cars with less than the half price from the main square and/or train station).

The view from the patio is breathtaking and the manager was incredibly helpful and friendly. She also co-owns the business so if you're trying to support a woman-owned business definitely stay here!

Could not have asked for a better stay in Ollantaytambo. The woman who runs the hotel is extremely nice and informative and made our stay incredible. She made us feel at home and recommended great things to eat and see. 10/10 would recommend!

Highly recommend! The woman working there was so warn and accomodating. Brought hot tea to my room without me asking. She also packed me breakfast, walked me to the main plaza and helped me catch a tuk tuk to the train station at 4am.

Excellent guest house in a beautiful alley
Ollantaytambo is beautiful. so glad that we picked this guest house. the free hiking trail is in front of this place. We were the only two guests staying there. So luxury lol two friendly ladies cooked breakfast for us in the morning. Great view from their rooftop. Room is small but we got two beds. Love the balcony and creek on the side. Such a beautiful and peaceful setting. One lady spoke pretty good English and took good care of us. Thanks so much for everything!

A well managed and very friendly guest house
This is a well managed guest house that provide all basic need for traveler. The owners and staff were very friendly and ready to help. As vehicle cannot pass through the street, the helped us to get our luggage to the hotel. They can also arrange transportation for their guest and provided all information needed. Highly recommended for travelers who need a place to stay before or after visiting Machu Picchu.

We stayed two nights at Kamma with one night in between at Machu Picchu. I can't recommend this place enough. Best breakfast we had for all of our Sth American travels, hosts were so helpful and friendly and honest (even drove out of town to meet us when they realised we'd overpaid). Location is excellent, easy to find. Private bathrooms. Great views from the top as well.

The hotel is convenient, clean, modern. The rooftop terrace for breakfast is amazing. But best of all was the staff. Liz met us at the city center, arranged baggage transport, and easily lined up transport to and from Cusco and to various locations in the Sacred Valley as well as advising on restaurants, travel times, etc. We stayed four nights andd Ollantaytambo is the perfect location, small town, walking distance to market and restaurants, surrounded by Incan ruins. The location was excellent, right by everything you need. Service from Liz was wonderful, she was very kind and wanted to make sure you had a great breakfast. The view from breakfast was beautiful too. Property was quite dated, beds are small and firm, rooms are so tiny and there is a window going into the bedroom that faces a hallway with a bright light. If you’re staying just one or two nights would recommend it but for more than 2 nights I would stay somewhere else.

I may have reviewed the Kamma previously--but we stayed for a couple of nights in July 2019 and were very, very pleased by our time. Lisa was terrific, very helpful and knowledgable. The locating is great-close to the main square but down one of the original Incan cobblestone walks, a babbling water channel next to it (for restful sleep). Great place to stay!!

Great Base for Exploring Ollantaytambo (a living Inca town) The Kamma is set in the historic Inca part of the city close to the central square-an ideal, quaint location. The hotel itself is small around a dozen rooms, all clean, bright and modern. Breakfast in a rooftop cafe with view of the entire valley. Lisa, the proprietor, is a young graduate of a Tourism Management program and applies her skills very well to taking care of her guests. She speaks English and is very knowable about the area, the Inca history and how to really enjoy this lovely jewel of a historic place.

Dear Guest, So sorry for the inconvinients you had at our property. About the hot water so sorry that they we had to reset our engine and it tooks some minutes , we apologies for it. We inform in all our reservations in expedia and others channels about the 5% extra charge and also at our front desk there is sign that indicates it , we know that not all the information we sent is read that is why everytime a guest do the check in and pay we inform them again about the extra charge. You can check on your confirmation e-mail. Thank you.

The Kamma guesthouse is located in the historical street and our room even has an Inca wall. The room is clean and staffs are very helpful. The breakfast is great. I highly recommend this place to stay in Ollantaytambo.

Property was super charming right next to a running stream that makes the most wonderful and constant noise of water running. Liz who worked at the reception and made us breakfast was incredibly helpful and very kind. I would absolutely come stay here again!
