In a very well kept stone building. A very quite area yet close to all amenities and ruins. I had an extremely pleasant stay. I didn't know what to expect when I booked but I was so pleasantly surprised. A very clean room and bathroom with a very comfortable bed. A lovely breakfast provided in the morning and even a take away breakfast provided for us when we took an early train to Aguas Calientes. Great location on a quiet alley just a short couple of blocks from the Plaza. He was very friendly and he went out of his way to ensure we were comfortable. He provided a room heater to take off the chill. He provided complementary bottled water in the room and he put out hot water and tea. He spoke enough English to make up for our poor Spanish and he held some extra luggage for us during our trip to Machu Picchu. The room itself was simple and clean. Comfortable bedding and a nicely finished ensuite bathroom. Very good value for the price we paid. Wifi was strong in the room (though the Internet connection to Ollantaytambo itself goes down from time to time so be prepared for outages). Breakfast was really nice: fresh juice, bread, eggs, coffee, tea.
