The Oak is a beautifully restored home that was welcoming and inviting. We had 7 adults on our trip to SXS at Windrock and this place was perfect. The property is private but within a short drive to restaurants and outdoor activities. The house is a wonderfully remodeled 1905 farmhouse- with all the charm and none of the outdated features. Shawn is the consummate host as evidenced by the little touches throughout the house. Well decorated without being overdone leaving plenty of space for our family to spread out. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and a killer coffee station. Although we didn't get a chance to enjoy the firepit, we appreciated the option of having it available. This property was charming, clean and comfortable. We were very satisfied with our stay. It had all the comforts of home, along with the charm of a renovated farmhouse. We were super close to WindRock AtV park, minutes drive or ride & there was plenty of room to park our trailers with ATVs. The owner was very quick to reply to any questions and it was a quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors. It was just what we needed to escape from our busy city life. ##### Nicole S.
