Spring Getaway

We stayed at this property for 2 nights at the end of our time in Portugal. The communication with the host was excellent! The house was quaint, the area was under construction so it was a bit noisy for us. Great location for old world charm and close to lots of restaurants and the waterfront.

It is a scam! The place we stayed in was as totally different from what was listed. It was a total misrepresentation. Where was the private pool? Many things in the house were broken, even the door knob! The house was smelly! The bath towel was a bit wet! Most of all the host followed us the next morning and scolded us for contacting VRBO!

This apartment was listed as a two-bedroom apartment. The check-in was at 12:00 p.m. although we arrived at 3:00 p.m. The owner of the apartment said it had not been cleaned and we would have to wait for the cleaning of the apartment. However, it was not at all the same apartment that I booked a completely different building different setup. There was only one tiny bedroom with a moldy shower and glass door toilet. My friend has hip problems and could not walk up the steep stairs to the toilet and second of all and most of all it was not the apartment that was in the photos that I booked. The owner said they did not mind if we left and at the last minute on a Sunday afternoon when everything was booked out I had to find another suitable accommodation. It was quite a nightmare but that was only the beginning. There was no possibility to cancel online and the owner of the apartment blamed Expedia for listing the apartment falsely. After at least 20 phone calls and online chats and phone calls and messages /sms to the owner, I was out the money.Essentially I was lied to from both parties, the owner of the apartment and Expedia/vrbo. I will never ever use them again and I'm still fighting with a credit card company to get my rightful refund. Beware anyone who thinks that they're getting an apartment that's in the photos. I would highly recommend that you do not fall for this trap. It was really a big stress and nearly ruined our nice vacation

Pas besoin de louer une voiture, les ubers suffisent si besoin de se déplacer.Tout le linge de maison est fourni ce qui est un plus quand on vient en avion. Prête de serviettes pour la piscine. Es war sehr schön, kann man nur empfehlen! Im nachhinein hätten wir kein Auto mieten müssen, da man von Olhào aus die schönsten Strände mit einer Fähre erreichen kann
