"We've stayed at Cedar Key a number of times but we've decided that Pelican Place is by far our favourite place to stay here. We loved being able to walk out onto the patio and gather around that photo-perfect circle of colourful chairs right on the water to watch the sunsets. The decor is just perfect for a charming hideaway by the sea. We also really loved being able to walk to all the pubs and restaurants and shops on the pier and along the main street. We will definitely come back again to...

"It felt like home! Though beautiful, we easily immersed ourselves into this lake home and felt completely comfortable and relaxed! It was clean and very functional. The pictures don’t do it justice. We are already talking about coming back!"

"One of the best places our fishing group has stayed at in the past 10 yrs. Close to everything. Super cool layout. Very comfortable. We fished off the back dock every night while we relaxed. Very clean with plenty of bathrooms and comfortable beds. Large open format kitchen with everything you’d need to prepare a large meal. Highly recommend this place."

"We absolutely enjoyed our first stay in Cedar Key at Rains Cottage. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed and then some. The location was within walking distance to restaurants and shopping. To be able to watch the sun rise and sun set with just a small walk from the cottage was breath taking. We look forward to returning to Cedar Key/ Rains Cottage sooner than later."

"Peaceful and beautiful place to hide for a couple of days. Disappointed that most silverware and plates were stored dirty. Couldn't find additional towels because they were dry inside the washer (we were there to relax, not to fold towels or clean kitchen). Surprised that an envelope was placed asking for tips (first time seeing that on any of the properties we have stayed). We were asked to take trash out but not outside trash cans. After 2 weeks, we are still waiting for management to answer...
