"Staying at the Ulysses Suites in the heart of Galena’s Historic District was an absolute dream. The location couldn't be better—everything from local museums and the tourist office to main attractions and fun activities is within easy walking distance. Plus, the host conveniently provides reserved parking spots.The building itself is gorgeous. The boutique-style entrance is a visual treat that seamlessly blends rich history with modern design. Our host, Joan, went above and beyond with delightful personal touches, including fresh macarons from Bread and Vine waiting for us, along with a complimentary voucher for more treats.We stayed in one of the suites, which was as charming as it gets. Every detail was thoughtfully curated, from the stunning wallpaper and chic decor to the softest bedding imaginable. The high-end extras truly elevated the stay—plush Parachute Cloud Cotton robes and luxurious Malin Goetz toiletries. They’ve even included a washer and dryer in the common area for extra convenience.Chic, warm, charming, and romantic, everything about this place was remarkable. It is easily one of the nicest accommodations we’ve stayed in for a long time, and I would return in a heartbeat. Thank you, Joan, for an unforgettable stay!"

"Owl House is a lovely, comfy, cozy nest at the end of a long day shopping. Exploring and (in my husband’s case) fishing. It is so easy to access Main Street from a stairway two doors down. Chris and Jayne are very quick to answer any questions and offer suggestions. They also left us a lovely gift”sweet” treat for staying (gift card to a bakery with the best almond cake I have ever had)! I would highly recommend Owl House for your next get-away and cannot wait to return!"

We were a group of five women coming from different directions with five cars so help on where to park would have been appreciated.
