"This house is like a private oasis for peace and tranquility! We stayed for 3 weeknights in August and it felt like we had the whole corner of the lake to ourselves. There are no houses on either side so it was quiet and peaceful, which is exactly what we were seeking. The house sits very close to the shoreline and the lake side of the house is all windows, so there is a spectacular view even from inside. The house was very clean with a minimalist beach vibe. There is a large side yard with grass, so it was perfect for walking our dog who joined us on the trip. This was our first VRBO experience and it very much exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend this property."

"We loved our stay at the Honor House. Everything was just as listed. Honestly this was the best stocked home we have ever stayed in. Plenty of dishes, pans and pots for cooking since we had 14 people. Lots of dining tables. The dock and waterfront had chairs and fire pit as well as toys, life preservers for the kiddos, float pad as well paddle boat and canoe. Ronda our host went the extra mile to make our stay wonderful. We used every inch of the home. The deck was great and wrapped around the home We pretty much had the whole lake to ourselves during the weekdays. I totally recommend staying here."

"Fantastic home in a quiet community right near the big lake. House was extremely clean and all furniture and amenities were like new. Located a short 10-minute drive into Frankfort, or 30 minutes up the coast to Sleeping Bear Dunes and Glen Arbor. Kids loved the on-site fire pit and ability to walk down to the beach. Host was super communicative and helpful in answering questions about the house and nearby activities. 10/10 - highly recommend!"

"We loved this cottage. It was our first stay here and the host was wonderful. The lake was smaller than we were used to, but our cottage had birch trees and lovely lounge chairs in their shade. The cottage was clean, the kitchen was pretty well furnished, and the beds were mostly comfortable. The deck and outdoor shower were big hits. The kids loved jumping off the dock and we used the canoe and kayaks multiple times. We appreciated the washer and dryer as well as the clean bathrooms. There was a fire pit with wood so we had several fires with s'mores and we all enjoyed playing corn hole. The setting was lovely and private and loons and beaver on the lake were also nice surprises. The cottage is close to hiking areas with woods and dunes leading to Lake Michigan and close to other lakes and towns. It's beautiful there."
