However no bath, especially with 3 young children in the non-summer season was extremely disappointing (especially for Japanese children who are used to it nightly; other foreign families may not be at all bothered). Many good facilities and amenities with useful and practical information on places to eat and shop, in English and in Japanese. One very disappointing point was to be woken by my wife at 4am because a poisonous Japanese centipede (mukade) had crawlen over her arms and stomach and gotten into her undershirt - of course these are common in Japan but in your bed in probably less common. A few other units in the property. Hosts are amazing and sweet, family-run business with a homely feel. They try their best to make the stay comfortable. A lot of space for the kids to run around. We booked a pit and bought pre-packed meat for easy outdoor bbq.
