Love that it was right at Kokusai Street! Great breakfast selection, unlimited coffee 24/7, rooms are clean, wifi is fast, & also the views are great! Affordable too. Thanks for a perfect stay!

The most family friendly hotel We have ever stayed at. Staff was over the top accommodating. The facility had an abundance of kid friendly amenities and various supplies that a family may need. Everything was so colorful and cutely decorated with Okinawa theme. Would definitely stay again.

The Best!
Fantastic Hotel in the center of Naha. Rooms are quite spacious and the service was excellent. Loads of free rental stuff- bicycles, beach toys, towels, tents, rings and more. The pools was great. Kids loved it all. Thank you.

Liked everything about this hotel. Great location near Makishi station on Yui Rail, near Max-Valu supermarket. Clean rooms, free coffee at lobby, kid-friendly therefore safe for kids and adults. Great and friendly staff. Will stay there again next time we visit Naha. Highly recommended to all.

I have left my watch in my room after checked out. I contact the hotel via email but still no reply. The air con is not enough and a little bit noisy. seems no air con in the corridor. The only good thing is 24 hour free drinks at the lobby.

The room was understandably cramped for 5 beds. For such a thoughtful hotel, I found it strange that no bottled water was provided and the kettle was only 600 ml. Housekeeping was done early in the morning unlike some other hotels. Soundproofing was poor - we could hear noises coming from the corridor and other rooms. This hotel suits families with young children. Being located at the end of Kokusaidori, it is quite a walk to the happening part of the street.

Simple Comfortable Place with a good location.
Almost at the end of Kokusai-Dori 5mins walk to Makishi Station. Room is pretty small but comfortable, staff are friendly even though conversing in English has always been an issue in my 6 days stay in the whole of Okinawa

Okinawa hotel
This was a very clean and hospitable hotel. Front desk personnel were outstanding, helpful, friendly and the lobby, though set up for kids, was really nice. The free noodles at night were welcome as well as the tea, coffee, juice and even the sake. Rooms are small compared to western standards, but still did the job and this was something that I was already familiar with. Price was reasonable for the location. Main reason we chose this hotel was because of the location. I will definitely stay here again.

The hotel staff is friendly and services are very personalized eg different kinds of pillows, shampoo to select. Many facilities likes 24-hours drink, children playground, diapers. Only thing is room size is relatively small.

I can’t say enough good things about this hotel
I have never stayed in such a baby/child-oriented hotel. My husband and I were both awed. They provided us baby shampoo, diapers and wipes, and other supplies. Strollers, step stools, training toilet seats, and other useful things were also available for free. Kids play area is set up on the first floor and the top floor where breakfast is provided. Children are allowed to take their favourite books and toys to their room. It’s about 5 min walk to Kokusai Dori and there is a grocery store within a couple minutes so it’s very convenient. Most importantly, all staff were genuinely friendly. I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. Highly recommended if you are travelling with a little one(s) for vacation.

Family of 5 adults holidaying in May 2019, stayed 3 nights. Highly recommended hotel Ocean. Short walk to mono rail station and then international street. The hotel provided free drinks at lobby and every night provided free noodle (limited to 50). Different pillow can be selected. Okinawa style breakfast is very very good. You also get a portable phone with free internet connection to use while you explore Naha. This device able to make local and international call. We use it for google map and search for restaurants. That save data from our own mobile phone. But room is small, also hotel car park only accepts small car. You need to find parking around the hotel. The two car parks in front and next to hotel are expensive. I found a car park two blocks behind the hotel in residential area only charge yen 700 for 24 hours. You do not need a car when you stay at this hotel to explore Naha. I only hire a car on my last night stay to ready to drive to other parts of Okinawa island.

Top choice hotel
Great hotel with many amenities. There are different appliances for you to take into your room to use right by the elevators. From shampoo, chairs, tables to humidifiers you name it. Also very children friendly. If you enjoy having breakfast at hotels, this one was voted best breakfast in Okinawa in 2018. Huge selection Also, very close to Kokusai-dori.

Family vacation
We booked a room for 5 for 3 nights and were pleasantly surprised at the spaciousness of the room with ample space for our clothes and luggage. All the comforts of home were also supplied like an air pot, hair dryers, hair iron/curler & even stationery. There's also a range of different types of pillows. shampoos, hair conditioners & bath liquids that you could select from. Free flow of coffee were also available throughout the day. We arrived on a rainy day and because our car was too big for the hotel's car park, we were directed to the nearest carpark and umbrellas were given to us. Staffs were all very friendly and helpful. Hotel's breakfast was good though it would be nice if the food could be kept warm. Shops and restaurants are also conveniently within walking distance. Overall, if was a very pleasant stay and we would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and future stays.

Average stay at Hotel Ocean.
Although the hotel excels in its variety of Japanese breakfast and amenities like 24/7 coffee bar, shampoo bar ,pillow selection , kids' toys and knic-knac galore,and shelves of things that you might have forgotten to bring along with you for loan ( eg weighing scale, electric fan, travel adaptors) , it lacks in all the other areas. The tiny rooms were smelly at times and not cleaned ( beds were made up, but that was it .) and there was literally no space for any luggage . It wasn't exactly that convenient as the hotel was located at the start of Kokusai Street and one had to walk at least 1/2 km to where the action was. I was with elder folks and 1 km to and fro was quite taxing for them. If I were to visit Naha again, I would probably choose another hotel in the middle of Kokusai Street instead.

A lot of thought is put into providing amenities to guests but it lacks cleanliness and although on Kokusai Street, it is right at the very end (or the beginning so you do need to walk quite a distance to get to the action.

So many amenities! We all loved the fact that you get to choose pillows, shampoos and conditioners. Also loved the free-flow of beverages at the lobby. Smooth check-in and check-out process, no issues with the room either. Location is excellent for the price, very near Makishi monorail station (which is convenient for getting to and from the airport) and a short walk takes you right onto Kokusai Dori.
