If you want an onsen and a gym in a reasonable-price hotel, this is the one for you. The check-out time at 10 am is too early though. Very convenient to the train station which is why we chose it - we used it as a base for several bullet train trips to Himeji, Hiroshima, etc. The bathroom door is an odd and significant step up. A definite fall hazard for kids or elderly. Very nice laundry facilities. Heat and AC controls in Japanese only (and completely non-intuitive) so even with Google translate we were never able to get the room to a comfortable temperature. Front desk staff was the least helpful/interested in whether or not we had what we needed out of all the hotels we stayed in Japan.
