Rustic log barn cabin (1,500 SF) with wrap-around covered deck (3 sides, 500 SF) - originally built as a horse barn in the 70's, was converted to a family cabin in the late 70's. I bought it from my brother in 2020 and completely remodeled it with new bathrooms (2), kitchen/appliances/cabinets, wrap-around deck, bay window and seat, and hydronic heating system. We're in the heart of Quartz Creek Valley with beautiful views all around. This is alos across the street from our other cabin (listed on VRBO) 2 124 Gunnison Street, aka "Island In the Sky". We really enjoyed our stay. Cabin was clean and very well built. Had plenty of parking for both our large trailers of offroad toys. Only complaint, which really isnt a complaint because we knew the local rules is you cant ride from the cabin to the close trails in the area. This was an ideal location to be near to Pitkin. It was a short drive to the Stumbling Moose for dinner, and we explored the nearby jeep and dirt bike trails. The house really had most everything we needed for a short stay. They had some board games, and the remodeled bathrooms were really nice. The home was really beautiful. The only odd part of the house is the sleeping arrangements are a little weird, the main bedroom has a double bed and a couple bunk beds. You have to access the smaller bedroom through the first bedroom, and it has the twin bunk beds, but they are very small beds, they don’t seem to be standard length. And the fire place wasn’t actually usable. Overall it was a great place to stay though. ##### Blake S.
