Minutes from Walking trails. Illinois River and Vermillion River only minutes drive. Two fireplaces. Jacuzzi. WIFI. Close to nature. The perfect getaway from the hustle's city. You will love it being here!! Two minutes walking from Saint Louis Trail .
Villa is inside GrandBear Resort complex.
(Please Note:WE ARE PRIVITELY OWNED, INDEPENDET FROM GRAND BEAR RESORT AND OR GRIZZLY JACK'S RESORT. Water Park Passes are NOT INCLUDED).Rustic log style furnishings. The generous 1,800 square foot Villa sleeps 8 with 2 bedrooms, 2 bath, comforting fireplaces, televisions, a patio, 2 balconies, washer/dryer, kitchen & dining area.

The kitchen is complete with all major appliances dishwasher, microwave, coffee pot, single cup coffee maker, toaster, dinnerware, eating utensils and basic cookware.
To maximize your rental experience please consider bringing any special items you may need. There is a 24 hr convince store located inside the resort lobby, should you forget something.

House keeping services are not provided for stays shorter then 7 nights. Guests are encouraged to take advantage of the full size washer and dryer to launder the existing towels and linens for a fresh supply.

*Villa toiletries (paper towels, toilet paper) will be provided but are based on the amount of people/duration of your stay.
Should you feel more is needed while on your stay please feel free to visit the General Store located inside GrandBear Resort.

*This Vacation Villa is privately owned and the use of some resort amenities (i.e. Water Park, mini golf) IS NOT INCLUDED WITH THE RENTAL.

Spacious Home Near Starved Rock!

We had a great stay during our trip to Starved Rock! The house is spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. The host was very responsive and quick to answer any questions we had.

Great place!

Very conveniently located to all amenities, we were hoping for! So clean and had everything we needed! Contact with the host was excellent. Neighborhood was nice and quiet with plenty of wildlife.

This property is right on the Great Bear Resort property. It’s the perfect place to stay if your intention is to hike and enjoy Starved Rock. It’s clean and has everything you need. Very spacious as well.

Perfect Starved Rock Getaway

We stayed here for our wedding in Starved Rock. Was the perfect lodging for us and our two teenage kids - perfect proximity to the state parks as well as being able to connect with family/friends who were staying at Grand Bear. The host was great and the unit itself was clean and very comfortable.

Great location and a very nice place!

We were very comfortable and could’ve brought more family. We loved the location and amenities. We didn’t cook, but there was a spacious kitchen. A perfect girl’s weekend!

Perfect stay with friends for a hiking weekend!

Plenty of room for 5 adults, and had room for two more. Clean, cozy and convenient spot for hiking the State Park. We were able to walk to the park and short drive to dinner. Hoping to stay again.

Weekend get away

Stayed with friends. Enjoyed hiking in the area. Spent time in Utica and Ottawa shopping, dinning and enjoying live music. The villa was clean and well stocked. Location is perfect for enjoying the area.

So peaceful

This was a great place to stay. We had everything we needed in the kitchen, plenty of toilet paper, etc. It was very clean, spacious, peaceful, and a great location. Wifi worked great for our devices and we had a great time relaxing.

7th birthday adventure

My husband, two sons, and I staid Thursday through Sunday and it was a great time. Location was perfect being on the ground for the resort gave us many amenities to take advantage of. One child is 12, the other turned 7 and both boys enjoyed this vacation.

Hiking weekend

We had two couples in our group- this location was perfect for us! We hiked all day at Starved Rock and Matthiessen State Park, then enjoyed dinner in Utica and cocktails with cards at the townhouse. We will be back!

Great place to stay!

Came for Memorial Day weekend, and had a great time. Place was clean and very spacious. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. Walking distance to starved rock state park. A lot of cute local shops to check out. Great communication with host. Definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a chill getaway. 10/10 do recommend.
