Going to the tourist attractions is about a 15 minute walk. It is doable if you are up for the walk. It is about 1 mile away. The hotel itself is just fabulous. The bed was comfortable, the record player in the room complete with jazz vinyls were an astounding inclusion! I listened to the record player before bed and when I woke up. Bathrooms were roomy and staff were great. Breakfast was good - regular scrambled eggs, granola bars, yogurt cups, plain bagels, toast, bacon, sausage, potato’s, a toaster if you need, cereal and milk, and coffee/capuccino/latte machine. Front desk staff were attentive. They don’t do daily room service but I don’t care for it. Loved it here and would consider this hotel again for sure. Oh and kf curious about the cabs - I used lyft and jt was about $10 one way to Bourbon/French Quarter area."
