Frequently asked questions

When is the best time to go to Oddeyrin?
The best time to go to Oddeyrin is during the summer months, from June to August, for warmer weather and longer daylight hours, or during the shoulder seasons of May and September for a more tranquil experience.

For travellers hoping to experience the midnight sun and enjoy outdoor activities, July and August are ideal. Temperatures are at their mildest, typically ranging from 10°C to 15°C, making it comfortable for hiking, whale watching tours from the harbour, or exploring the town on foot. The extended daylight means you can make the most of your days, with museums and local attractions often having longer opening hours.

If your primary goal is to witness the Northern Lights, the best period is from late September to March. While the weather will be colder and daylight hours significantly shorter, the darker skies offer the best chance to see this natural phenomenon. Many local tour operators offer dedicated Northern Lights excursions during this time.
Can I cancel my hotel reservation on Expedia?
