Well-appointed, bright, family-friendly, Ocracoke Island home. Relaxed. Simple. A comfortable retreat for a couple or small family. Located on a dead-end street, this home sits on six lots near the end of Ocean View Road with a huge grassy yard and shady cedar trees. The kids can ride their bikes and run around outside. You can sit and watch the sunrise while birds dart and sing. Step out onto the porch at night in a neighborhood with little light pollution and look up at the magnificence of the heavens above. Centrally located, it’s an easy walk to the Village and for those that enjoy biking about a 15 minute bike ride to the Lifeguard Beach. Walk to the grocery store, the ice cream parlor, numerous restaurants, and coffee shops for a delicious frothy fix. Biking and walking are the best way to travel around Ocracoke Village. 2 Bedrooms, 1 Bath: 1 with Queen. 1 with 2 Twins. Bathroom has tub/shower. That was my biggest concern. Everything else was cute. Not luxurious, if that's what someone is going for, definitely an older cottage atmosphere. It did have all the amenities like microwave, TV, blue ray, internet, washer/dryer, ironing board etc. Regular coffee maker, not a Kuerig though but I brought mine. Pots and pans etc. It also has a couple of beach chairs, binoculars, good books, and most amazing thing I ever saw was a serious telescope. Great for star gazing!
