The photos of the property & condo were very inviting, but upon arrival, I couldn’t believe how beautiful the grounds were as well as our ocean view. Sleeping to the sound of waves never gets old! We walked everywhere in Oceanside, loving that extra perk! We also walked to the train station from our place to spend time in Carlsbad and San Diego. We were at the end of the beach so having everything accessible / walkable yet enjoying the most peaceful location on a busy beach street was more than I could ask for! Safe, beautiful, perfect! There were elevator problems all week. The microwave issue needs to be dealt with as the tiny replacement isn't efficient.The dining table tilts over. Another issue is that kids are always in the Jacuzzi. The way the place is furnished allows for a space that induces relaxation. The spa at the Hyatt is wonderful and so is the rooftop bar. ##### Mary P. ### 8/10 Good #### Mike G. 24 Aug 2025 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy My wife and I were traveling with extended family who stayed at other units on the same property, and we all enjoyed the amenities at North Coast Village for the second straight year. The unit was well stocked with beach gear and portable cooling fans that were important due to no central AC. Most of the experience was good, but there were some draw backs. The bedroom light switch was difficult to understand how to use. The light went on by itself two nights, once at 2 AM. A simple on/off switch would be preferred.
