The home was so nice and spacious. It was so nice to have three bathrooms and three bedrooms. It was such a nice open layout. The only thing is that it seemed like there was a need for some updates as far as the ceiling, walls and the one bathroom upstairs. We really liked the home overall and would love to book again in the future. We were happy to bring our dog and how clean it was for being a dog friendly property! Really appreciated the ability to bring our cats, so a rare find there. We made use of the pool, and felt that Beat Trap Dunes did a great job with pool area sanitization, pool bathroom cleanliness, and schedules for safety during COVID. The only downside was the condo was not fully cleaned upon arrival , however guest services did respond when contacted. Overall an enjoyable stay. Checkin was so easy the place was just like the pictures very spacious and nice. There are more steps then planned so not really ideal for older dogs that I had taken with . The neighborhood is beautiful and very well kept. We did get passes for the community which honestly were kind of a waste. The times the club house was open were minimal and we couldn’t use the indoor pool when it rained. We also drove to the beach everyday instead of using the trolley (because of the times) which was a short drive and we always found close parking! The back deck unscreened patio furniture was rusted and cushions were completely torn and dry rotted. The refrigerator hummed loudly continuously, the cable box went off and on and when we phoned the cable company they said the box was “obsolete”. The dishwasher was missing all the face of the selector buttons and the dish strainer was broke, the coffee pot was from the 1960s, and half the recessed lights were burnt out. If that wasn’t enough the vent in the ceiling was so filthy it was 3/4 black. We left on our third day there and came home. With some attention and updates the place would be a perfect getaway! Needs a good bit of TLC. On a good note, the dishes, pots and pans were nice, beds were comfortable and bathrooms were a nice size! ##### z\`2 S. The HOA needs to be alerted to that the siding is in need of repair, the fireplace has droppings from an outdoor bird's nest, and a few indoor touches (painting, fix missing drywall on loft ceiling and cracks in a few places) would make a world of difference. As it relates to Vacasa, keep your shoes on in the place! The floors were FIlTHY!!! In fact, we felt grit while walking on the floors the first day, and our daughter's feet were black before the night was over. When going to plug in my phone cord, I noticed a HUGE dust bunny beside the bed on the floor, furniture needed dusting, fans and vents had coats of dust on them. I just felt dirty the entire time I was there. Eh!!! Our bed only had a fitted sheet and a ligthweight blanket with a red stain, no top sheet was on the bed. Carpet was loaded with stains from previous animals; disgusting! Fan did not work in master bedroom and light over dining room table did not work. The use of amenities in the off season was not clear. I booked it for the indoor pool and outdoor basketball courts which we couldn’t use unless we paid $40 per person for a weekly pass. Daily or weekend passes were not available. Seems like you shouldn’t advertise the amenities for weekend bookings. Other than that, carpets could use a cleaning. Big and spacious, plenty of room. I love to eat breakfast on the screened in porch overlooking the pond; keeps the bugs away which is great! The only downside is that we could not use the October Glory pool which we have enjoyed several years before. There were lots of stain in the carpets. There weren’t enough sheets/blankets/pillows/pillowcases were BP where to be found. The pots and pans need to be changed. Cooking was extremely difficult. It was a cozy place with wonderful beach decor! The owner reached out with my list of issues immediately and will take care of these issues. There were some that she was unaware of. I was trying to get a checkout time but was unable to reach her. With these changes we would stay here again without a doubt. ##### Sue C.
