- Welcome to the McKenzie Estate Home. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay and enjoy the nature and charming Old Town Occoquan. Completely remodeled historic home located on 3 acres of land and part of the historic Old Town Occoquan, you can enjoy the nature, trails, shops, parks and sounds and sights of birds. Old Town Occoquan is a small yet vibrant riverfront town in Northern Virginia, located 20 miles south of Washington, DC with 80+ small & family owned businesses including art galleries, unique shops and boutiques and award-winning restaurants. You can walk to the town and get connected to local trails, parks and nearby Workhouse Art Gallery or Occoquan Park.
