"Historic property that is well maintained and provideds a great experience. I loved how large my room was and the bed was very comfortable. Location is perfect if you would like to experience downtown Juneau. I am looking forward to my next visit in the near future. Thank you for such a great experience."

"The staff was very friendly and helpful and the feeling was that it was more rustic as there is usually a lot of rain and the area around the hotel was more gravel and at the room window the weeds are a bit overgrown. Our room was downstairs from the lobby and although there was an elevator it didn't go down to the lower floor and with heavy bags this was a bit much. I did get help when we were leaving to haul my bags upstairs and that was a blessing! I also noticed a fairly strong aroma of pesticide in the stairwell. At breakfast the food was good but the wait staff was quite slow and inattentive. The bar closed about 9:00 pm which seemed a bit early for a bar."
