A special highlight is the spacious balcony: Start your day with breakfast outdoors or enjoy the sunset overlooking the expansive garden while listening to the waves of the lake—peace and pure nature guaranteed. For your daily needs, there’s a shop right in town: Tante Tietje offers a good selection of groceries and regional products. The area around Potzlow is ideal for nature lovers and active holidaymakers. Whether hiking, biking, or swimming in the lake—here, relaxation and exercise go hand in hand. We, the de la Barré family, warmly welcome you to our holiday rental in Potzlow. As a family with three wonderful children, we know how important it is to have a place where you can feel right at home. Our holiday rental has been designed with great attention to detail and reflects exactly what matters most to us: cosiness, a connection to nature, and time spent together. While our children enjoy the area around the village, we as a family especially appreciate the peace and quiet and the unique atmosphere of this place. A special part of our farm life is raising our Galloway cattle. The animals live year-round on expansive pastures around Potzlow and feed mainly on grass, herbs, and hay—in a way that’s natural for them and stress-free. Extensive grazing and treating animals with respect are particularly important to us. The animals play a key role in preserving the natural vegetation and keeping the landscape open. In addition, as a family, we are actively involved in the care and preservation of the surrounding moorlands. Through targeted grazing and mindful management, we make a valuable contribution to protecting this sensitive ecosystem, which provides a habitat for numerous rare plant and animal species. We regularly offer high-quality beef from our own herd for sale—sustainably produced and ideal for those who enjoy meat responsibly. The Potzlow Area—Nature, Tranquility, and Discovery The idyllic town of Potzlow is nestled in the rolling hills of the Uckermark—one of Germany’s most unspoiled and tranquil regions, often referred to as the “Tuscany of the North.” Surrounding the town is an impressive natural landscape of lakes, forests, marshes, and vast fields, each season revealing its own unique charm. At the heart of the region lie the picturesque Oberuckersee and Unteruckersee lakes in Prenzlau, whose clear waters invite you to swim, paddle, or simply relax on the shore. Numerous hiking and biking trails wind along the lake and through the gently rolling countryside—perfect for anyone who wants to actively enjoy nature. Just a short drive away lies the historic town of Prenzlau with its well-preserved city wall, the impressive Dominican Monastery of Prenzlau, St. Mary’s Church, and several cosy cafés.
