Perfect for a family winter getaway.

Our family quite enjoyed our stay here. Our room was very clean and well-appointed and we enjoyed the comfortable common area with a kitchen and tables for eating and game playing. Our hosts were very friendly and accommodating and live onsight so are generally very available. The location was perfect for us because we could easily walk into town for restaurants, shopping or playing in the snow. Oberhof itself offered everything we needed and wanted for a winter getaway including a top-notch luge track, cross country ski trails and plenty of gear rental outlets. We hope to go back soon.

Ideal gelegen, unkompliziert, freundlich

2 Minuten Fußweg zum Zentrum, sehr freundliche Gastgeberfamilie, voll ausgestattete Küche. Warm, gemütlich. Sehr schöne Zimmer - sauber, geräumig. Wir haben uns sofort wie zuhause gefühlt und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Beautiful, clean, comfortable stay

We loved our stay here! The owner was very kind to meet us when we arrived late and also very kindly let us check-out late as we stayed during the off-season. The hotel and room were beautiful, spacious, comfortable, and very clean. We would definitely stay again!

Beste Lage mit sehr netten Eigentümern

Wir waren zum Winterurlaub in Oberhof und hatten beste Bedingungen und auch das Wetter gehabt. Das Hotel (Pension) liegt in einer top Lage, das Zentrum von Oberhof ist in 2 min erreicht. Sehr nette und zuvorkommende Eigentümer, da es junge Eigentümer sind, waren die Zimmer modern gehalten und ausgestattet. Das Bad sehr modern ausgestattet und gut durchdacht. Der Aufenthaltsraum mit der Küche hatte alles was man benötigt um sich mit eigenem Essen zu verpflegen und Essen zuzubereiten. Wer sich nicht selber verpflegen möchte, Restaurants gibt es mehrere in der direkten Nähe.

Günstige Pension in guter Lage.

Pension in guter Lage.Alles im Zentrum gut zu Fuss zu erreichen da ganz in der Nähe. Unser "Balkon"-Zimmer war gut aber noch als einziges noch nicht saniert. (Sehr kleines Bad). Frühstück allerdings nicht im Haus sondern gegenüber im "Chalet Sonnenhang".Frühstück ist OK dort. (9,00€/Person) Vermieter nur am Abend im Haus. Grosse Allgemeinküche vorhanden, Möglichkeit des Selbstkochens und alle Küchengeräte vorhanden. Für einen günstigen Aufenthalt zu empfehlen.

We arrived late and left on next day at noon while it was raining. So, we did not stay around to visit the town. I think it may be good if you got time to explore this area especially in winter time. Consider the room price for people of four, it was spacious and comfort. It was worth for the money even we had to drive a long way to get there. We had our late dinner in the restaurant which is not far away from the hotel. The waitress and lady manager are very nice. The food they recommended was delicious.

fantastic place to stay in Oberhof

loved it! Kids loved it too. Kitchen area was huge, dishwasher was an unexpected bonus! Showers in the rooms were fantastic. Spacious acomodation with cupboards and storage. Easy reach of Obehof just a few minutes walk. Kind owners helped us dig our car out of the unexpected snow fall. 12 inches overnight! Overall very happy with our stay.

Zentral gelegen und ganz ok

Das Haus entspricht eher einer Pension als einem Hotel. Es ist sauber, gut gelegen und bietet mit der Küchenzeile im Aufenthaltsraum gute Möglichkeiten. Es ist allerdings sehr hellhörig und direkt an der Straße gelegen. Man hört jeden Schritt des Kindergetrippels über einem und die Stimmen der Unterhaltung. Die Toilette / Badezimmer ist ziemlich eng.

Sehr kleines Hotel

Das Hotel liegt in einer sehr kleinen Ortschaft hoch über dem Thüringer Wald. Im Winter bestimmt sehr schön, ist die Ortschaft wenn kein Schnee liegt eher langweilig. Das Hotel ist für einen kurzen Aufenthalt, z.B. während einer Mopedtour echt gut gelegen, denn die Gegend ist für Motorradtouren der Hammer. Unser Zimmer war gut, weil der Raum fürs Kind abgetrennt vom Elternschlafzimmer war.
