Nice place to stay in the heart of the city and very close to the Zocalo. Rooms were clean and the hotel staff was helpful with arranging tours and taxis.Recommended!

Nice hotel, very clean and well located near Zocalo and the historic center of town. Beautiful decore in the interior part of hotel.

When you turned off the lights the electricty went off also. We could not charge our phones overnight.

It was a beautiful hotel Very clean and personnel very helpful and polite Will defined stay there again Only thing there was no restaurant on sute But location was wonderful

Great wise choice in hotel
This hotel is located close to everything for someone that is going for tourism. After the checked in, we headed to the Zócalo to walk around and see the vendors. There were restaurants to choose from or even food vendors on the street. The following day we went on a tour which we paid for at the hotel. The ease of that set up could have not been any easier. The last day we headed to the 20 de Noviembre Mercado which was about a block away. The hotel service was exceptional, very clean, they offer buffet breakfast at a very reasonable price and very delicious. They also have a bar, which we attended one of the nights and the margaritas were delicious and of course they had mezcal there as well. It was a clean and quiet hotel, it seemed busy but you wouldn't know unless you spent some time in the patio enjoying the retractable roof to get that fresh breeze. This is def in my list to stay again in the city.

The kind and exceptional customer service was by far the best. Staff ensured our wellbeing with excellent COVID health practices. Breakfast was always fresh, delicious, and staff were very attentive. Casona Oaxaca staff were professional, always available, and exceptional service.

Location is about 2 short blocks to the Zocalo. Just outside the door is part of the central area street market which stops after 5 so you can sleep. This is really a nice old building, they have this courtyard and if it rains they can close a glass canopy on the roof, which is actually accessible. Great space!

Great place to stay. One block from Zocalo and few minute walk from many other interesting places. Francisco and the rest were fantastic. The tour companies they work with were reasonably priced and fun. Get the breakfast there at least once. It was home style.

I had a missed connection and told the hotel that I would not be arriving the first night. They said "no problem, we'll see you tomorrow." I got there the next day and I was told that my reservation was cancelled as they thought that I would be getting there early in the morning (I got there in the evening). Luckily they did not charge me for a second night. Luckily they were able to get me a room at a neighboring hotel.

I need ti clarify that your reservation was reported as No Show . we wait for our Guest until noon. You called and said that you will arrive next morning. Not at 10 pm . Anyway we did charge you for the second night

Casona Oaxaca is a very nice place for your stay in Oaxaca. Very close to everything you want to see and do. The hotel can arrange tours for a good Oaxaca experience.

My daughters air pods went missing on second day there. Plus, could not sleep to loud could hear everything. The walls & doors super thin. They were non smoking signs up but everyone Was allowed to smoke. Definitely will not stay there again. The worst was the trust that they stole my daughters AirPods.

it is a very serious accusation to say that people steal objects and to feel empowered to point out and de-honor people who have done their job decently for years. our maids have been working with us for years. Your daughter couldn't find her headphones but wasn't sure where she left them. How sad that there are people who do not assume the responsibility of buying valuable objects for their children and who think that it is everyone else's obligation to take care of them. We invite you to analyze the situation and know that your comment harms a team of 20 people. and also to teach their children to take care of their articles.

The walls are so thing and the door has gaps and you can hear every noise like if you were outside. Woke up every day at 6:50 am due to the noise outside of the room. The housekeeping staff did a great job at every time they cleaned my room.

El servicio fue increíble, muy amable todo el Staff, el desayuno es de muy buena calidad, mucho mejor que algunos restaurantes que fuimos. El cuarto es bastante espacioso y todas las instalaciones estaban muy limpias. También cuentan con un servicio de transporte al aeropuerto, lo cual nos sirvió mucho.

Initially the room I had was so dark that I needed the lights on at all times. This room didn’t have hot water and the shower pressure wasn’t so good. It also felt a bit dated. They kindly moved me to another room upstairs to the front. Although it was overlooking the Main Street it wasn’t noisy and I could sleep comfortably. This room was great, v clean and comfortable and the l’occitane toiletries were a lovely touch. The best thing about this hotel was the location; a block from the main square and two from the mercado, meant that it was great to come back and pit stop throughout a day of sightseeing. The staff were lovely and v helpful. Overall, I would definitely come back and stay here

The ubications was perfect, everything was within a walking distance and the room looked spotless, however, I left sweet bread in the night stand and the following day it was all covered with little bugs, they were not ants, I don't know what it was.

This hotel is centrally located, the breakfast is good and the staff is very professional. Parking is not great, but we had a handicap person with us and we were able to park right in front of the hotel. Overall it was a good choice, I would definitely stay here again.
