"Lovely hotel, staff were fantastic and room was cleaned to an okay standard. We stayed for 2 nights and our room wasn’t cleaned, tea/coffee not replenished, no fresh towels, toilet rolls not replenished resulting in me having to call reception for more. That was the only downside to the stay"

It’s as if a room from a very high end, boutique city hotel has been plucked out of a building and carefully placed down in beautiful, peaceful countryside. "For our 4 night stay everything was good. Our room was spacious clean and comfortable. We didn't eat in the hotel as we had catering at the FOCUS festival in Newark. The staff were cheerful and helpful. Our only gripe was that the lift was out of order for the whole 4 days, so we had a bit of a climb to the 2nd floor."
