Very good

This was a nice size home with very comfy beds, and the perfect size for our group. We all had our own room - which was GREAT!. I it only 4 stars because there were things in need of repair, and in one of rooms needed to be cleaned better.

Beautiful site, home maintenance needed
Spectacular sunset views; comfortable living/dining room with bright windows
The house worked out well for our group of six. The view was wonderful. We watched three eagles one morning. Beds were comfortable and kitchen had everything we needed. The house is dated and there was some cleanliness issues. The internet was not satisfactorily. But overall it was a good place to stay for our group.

Fantastic house for a large group. Super views.
From the easy directions, the uncomplicated access, to the well appointed house this space was perfect for the seven of us. We enjoyed the space so much that we stayed in soaking in the views and playing games in the enormous common space. Close to amenities at Oak Harbor a short distance away. I would highly recommend this house.
This home was great for us. We made use of the sauna, and played plenty of ping pong and fooseball. Beautiful views from the main floor and three of the upstairs bedrooms. Lots of bunnies visit the yard and we saw several bald eagles from the house. Quick drive to Oak Harbor for groceries, restaurants, and a lovely big park.
Perfect! We had 9 family members staying together. Assortment of bedrooms worked wonderful.
Large dining area and TV / living room space terrific.
Gorgeous view.
Really appreciated the early check in.
Overall fabulous experience!

Beautiful view, spacious home
My ladies group rented this home for our annual get away and have decided we want to come back here every year. It’s a very unique period home with huge rooms and space for everyone. The view from the wall of windows is amazing! It has a very well stocked kitchen. We would have given it 5 stars except for a few deep cleaning items that would make it better. Make sure to bring bottled water for drinking.
Beautiful views from the house and close to a number of beaches.
That said, the house is very tired and overpriced for what it is. Some beds were comfortable, others were saggy and old. The kitchen was missing some essentials, but after raising them with the property manager, they were delivered (thank you!).
For the price, it was very disappointing to not have ample supply of paper towels, toilet paper, dishwashing pods and dishwasher soap. These should be included. There were also no dish clothes in the house.
Overall very pleased with the house. Loved the ping-pong table and the foosball. 2 minor things: toilet bowl upstairs in the master bedroom doesn’t reliably flush. Needs 2-3 attempts. Second, the pillows for the bedrooms need replacing. They are worn out and not comfortable.
Additionally, there was a plastic mattress cover on the downstairs King size bed. It crinkled and made noise.
All minor and fixable things. Otherwise, we enjoyed the stay and appreciate such a large multi bedroom house.

Stunning view
This house sits on a bluff looking west over the Strait of Juan de Fuca. You can see the Olympic Mountains, Vancouver Island and the San Juan Islands. It helped that the weather was perfect when we were there, but the view is gorgeous.
The house was the perfect size for our group of nine adults and one infant. the living/dining area is large and comfortable. The kitchen was well-appointed and had everything we needed. We appreciated the Thanksgiving gift "basket"--a turkey roasting pan, aluminum foil, containers for leftovers, etc. It was very thoughtful.
We had a couple of problems with things not working, but I trust those issues will be resolved before the next guests arrive.
Only three cars are allowed to park on-site even though there is plenty of room for more. We complied with the request for limited cars, but it was very inconvenient for those of use who had to park off-site.
The view from the many windows is amazing, and the house is conveniently located to all that you’re going to want to do in Whidbey. It’s large, and comfortably held 10 people from 3 families. It was clean. Vacasa did their job and we had no complaints on that score. Foosball was a big hit.
But it’s not a luxury experience, or one otherwise commensurate with the money charged in the summer. It felt like Grandma’s house, largely abandoned by the heirs, and it wasn’t that nice to begin with. Weird chandeliers, thin walls, dated furniture, mishmash kitchen, no art on the walls, bathrooms that have seen better days. Mostly didn’t matter, except for the thin cheap towels and the mattress downstairs that creaks so loudly we gave over that (large, King, en suite) bedroom to one kid who wouldn’t wake anyone else up. So overall…fine, but not s 5-star experience.
The view from the patio and living area were amazing. Great location near Oak Harbor, Deception Pass, Coupeville and Anacortes. The house fit our needs for a large group and was sufficiently supplied. However…most of the beds were very uncomfortable. Especially the king room on the main floor. Vacasa, PLEASE replace this mattress before you rent this house again. One half of the mattress was unusable. Our group occupied every room and had no choice but to use it. Also, what exactly was my cleaning fee used for? Cobwebs in the windows and doorways. Dust bunnies abound. The best feature of this house is the windows facing the Salish Sea. How about washing them between rentals, or ever? I initially gave 4/5 upon our arrival late in the evening. I’ll give a 3/5 at best because the kitchen and bathrooms were clean at least. Could be a wonderful rental with some updates and more thorough cleaning.

Liked: Check-in, communication, listing accuracy
Disliked: Cleanliness
This property has a lot of potential, but it needs major TLC. It could do with an actual remodel but apart from that, it’s just not been well maintained. Towels racks literally fell off the wall, some rooms didn’t have a smoke detector, the house needs a deep clean (cobwebs with dead spiders, bathroom tiles that need a Clorox rinse), broken blinds. The view is absolutely incredible, beds were confident and the house was large enough to easily accommodate 3 families, and overall booking was easy. A few things to note: the house is bright including all rooms, we stayed in the master which had a hallway to the closets and bathroom with large windows without any curtains, so as soon as it was light outside, your room was bright. Not a big deal but we were traveling with 3 toddlers who ended up waking up way too early as a result. Because the house is old and primarily made of wood, sound also carries everywhere. For a two night stay, it was fine. Price wise it was fine especially over a holiday weekend. I don’t want to discourage you from booking but I think it’s good to be upfront with the good and bad.
The space was great to gather our family for Christmas. We loved the games, cozy living room, comfortable beds and amazing view.

Love the view
We enjoyed our stay at this house. The views are beautiful especially the sunset.
The property is perfectly located to enjoy all that Whidbey Island has to offer - great access to state parks, the quaint towns of Coupeville and Langley and an easy day trip to Port Townsend on the Olympic peninsula! The property could use some upgrades, especially the beds - other than that, it was a good place for our whole family to stay.
