"All good except the hotel agreed to set up a taxi pickup at 7:45 am for our 9:45 flight. When we arrived at the checkout desk at 7:45 they told us the taxi system was sold out and the next taxi would be in an hour. There are flights to the USA only a few days each week. If we miss this flight we would be stuck in Greenland 2 extra days! We had to find a shuttle bus to let us join his ride and ended up making our flight but are very unhappy the front desk didn't call us to warn us, nor help with an alternate ride. Very poor treatment of international guests. Maybe a good joke to play on Americans?"

Kulukis Downtown Hostel

Kulukis Downtown Hostel

10/10 Excellent
"There were 3 in my party and the room consisted of a large, double bed and a chair/single bed conversion. While we were only there one night, it fulfilled every need we had. The room was larger than anticipated and proved plenty of storage space for our belongings. The only issue we had was that when converting the chair to bed, we were missing a cushion. This did make for an "uneven" night of sleeping. The rest of the property was clean and inviting. The bathrooms having heated floors was a wonderful touch! Would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend to others."

Nuuk Hotel Apartments by HHE

10/10 Excellent
"If not aware, check in occurs at HHE. The apartments are a short 5ish minute walk away. The facilities are nice, including the rare gym amenities that include proper functioning equipment. If you stay at the apartments you do have access to the HHE facilities. Wi-Fi was fast and overall Nuuk is an easily walkable city with most things you need being with 5 minutes walking. The only "complaint" is that the blinds in the room could have been better. One was practically non existent and the other did not really block out much light. Depending on when you go, the sunset can set way past "bed time" so being able to have a dark room would be prime."
